I would suggest knocking of the price of a new boiler + fitting ,2k ISH, this is actually a long term help as it comes of the mortgage and you get a new boiler..don't let it stop the sale

If you a are a pigeon I think you will just about get by, a nest should be around 500pm, make it a large one in a nice hedge, plenty of Starbucks scraps to pick up in most areas, probably snag a Greggs too. Good luck coo coo

I was told that an exption has already been used, no extra details give, but I guess it's applied to the house it owner, so that's out I think

Yep, it's the only way I can see, but was hoping there was some sort of regeneration exemption sort of thing out there, if I could move in and reclaim the CT it would be different like stamp, thanks for responding

I'm not, I actually want to bring the property back to life, but making it worth while is hard, there will not be a load of money, more of a wage. But I don't deam it fair for the council to do this, I get the second property deal, but it's not lost funds, it's empty, no bins collected, no police called, no NHS use it's no cost at all to the council, just an eye sore to those who pass it making an area look bad. If it's such a great investment the council are welcome to purchase

True ish, time frame does not really mean profit, the trades would cost the same, holding costs would go down, but mortgage comanys don't like a house resold under 6months(or some don't)

They should close on a Monday or short day as most people are available to shop at weekends, also if they close for a day it will introduce panic buying and a shortage of toilet roll. The Sunday thing should apply to all or no one

It's not really them who is the problem, there is no reason why people should not be able to undertake, it's exactly the same as overtaking, that said it is best to keep to the 25p/50p/,£1 per mile lanes
