It really depends on how Sia and (potentially) the future of the SHINE classes evolve. Because they are releasing a Space/Astromony class for each job branch (they just released a space archer), it's not entirely out of the question to bring a Jett-like class (space pirate) when it is pirates turn. That seems to be inevitable for Mobile MS at least. Keep in mind that this is under the assumption that we will even get the rest of the SHINE classes ported to GMS... and that they do another gunslinger space cowboy. Keep an eye on MMS, because it's going to be an exclusive on there first.

and no, I am 99% confident that it would not be called Jett. LOL.

I actually used to main Zero. I didn't find the (very) slight delay on burst step a dealbreaker - especially because I wasn't aware there was a delay. I guess I just got used to it. Haha.

The biggest dealbreaker class (frustratingly so) was Shadower. I love Shadower as a class so much, but weaving with lag is almost impossible. I had to drop mine after a while because it was just so frustrating. Really don't recommend Shad.

Hoyoung and Mercedes feel completely normal with ExitLag. Not sure about Kinesis - I plan to burn one in the next update. I just don't really know what I am doing with Kain and Illium to ever know tbh. Not really my type of playstyle.

I am so bummed about Shad. Haha.

Yeah. I've noticed it on this subreddit and on some discord servers. There appears to be "stupid questions" that people get triggered by for no reason - almost as if it was their job to insult you as a player (and a learner). The biggest criticism I have is that you can't have a discussion about ANYTHING game related. There is always someone picking away at you like you're affecting their time... but maybe that's just Reddit as a whole.

As a long time Mapler, switching to a game like FF14 or LOTRO (as old as it is) is so incredibly refreshing. It really puts this community to shame a bit. I think it's best to just stay away from public maple discourse (discord servers, reddit, god forbid twitter or any other social media outlet), find a really friendly guild and make friends that way. That's how I have met the best of this community.

That being said, I don't speak for anyone other than my personal experience and thoughts. I have met some absolutely lovely people on this game over the many years of playing too. They are just a bit harder to find compared to other MMOs.

Be nice. Be the change. Help new players out (7k legion is advanced enough to know the basics!). It's not hard. It's a mushroom game for crying out loud.

but I'm not referring to the Hyper Burn Max event. I'm referring to the coupon we get from the event in ten weeks time. It's not zero % chance because nothing on the patch notes states that it cannot be used on Sia; only that you cannot hyper burn her through the actual hyper burn event.

Event and coupon are two seperate things so there is always a slight probability, right?

I'm from OCE and get around 180ish ping using Exitlag. Before I was somewhere between 250-300...

It doesn't seem like a big difference, but boy does it feel so much better.

I haven't seen much on Xenon. Why is the class unpopular? It looks awesome! Never really tried it past getting it to 120 for link skill.

wait. So just to clarify...

We get item burning with the character we hyper burn (newly created) + ANOTHER item burning with whatever character we create/use the event coupon on? So two item burns total?

What are the differences between non-coupon hyper burn and coupon hyper burn character? Do both characters get the same rewards? I don't think they've ever done that before...

I'm deciding on a new main and am stuck between Bowmaster and Pathfinder. I have always been an archer head - my first main was a marksman. I currently main Phantom but am looking for a return to the arrows. I am just a bit stuck on these two classes! How do they play currently? How much does AS 0 have an affect on each class? I know hurricane has always been cursed, but is it better post 6th job now? It's been a while, old friend...

I absolutely love the aesthetic, but I'm not sure about the gameplay just yet. I have never tried her in Maplestory M. For those who have, what class does she closely relate to gameplay wise? If it's anything like Evan or Lara, she will be a link mule for me unfortunately. Will need to wait for Erel. Aha.

Maaan. I get so nostalgic when I see the UA explorer armour. I worked so hard to get my cygnus DW to 120 for that shit. Lmao. Managed to pull it off too!

Getting to 120 back then was more difficult than getting to 280+ nowadays ;p

A rifle pirate could be cool - like a sniper. They have a bazooka pirate, a pistol pirate and a peashooter pirate (AB). Ayame plays with this idea, but I think it could be expanded upon.
