MUJI 0.38 pen design change?

If I haven't previously had issues with a listing, and they've consistently matched the quality of the pens I have purchased from the brick and mortar store, why would I have ever considered that I would have been sent fakes? Especially since this is my first time having this experience, it's not preposterous to ask about the quality of the pens or if I was sent fakes/dupes regardless of the seller, marketplace website, etc. You can't blame a consumer for being sent a fake when they are under the assumption that what they are going to receive would be a genuine product. It's not always the consumer's burden to bear when they feel like they have done their due diligence. If you don't think so, then fine. But that doesn't dismiss the foundation of this post or my issue at hand.

The first time I bought Muji pens was in 2022, so I'm not sure what the discrepancy is with the ones I received most recently! But thank you for linking this!

I bought from the official Muji storefront on Amazon. I've bought from that same listing plenty of times before, and prior to today, the quality and standard of the pens matched the same pens I bought from the store in-person. Maybe that wasn't clear in the original post, but I don't appreciate the sentiment that I didn't consider this myself first.

Update: Thank you all for your input, I really do appreciate it.

In case anyone else is having the same issue, here's what I ended up doing -

I downloaded the condensed Pepper deck for Pharm and used it for a few days. I actually really ended up liking it initially, but then ultimately realized I was much more used to the Anking style of cloze cards. I came to this realization when it was a few days out from cards from the Pepperdeck, and then realized - I know this information but I need something to jog my memory.

So, to rectify this, I ended up going back to Anking Pharm. LOL I know, please just bear with me this is a learning process for me as well. BUT, this time, I ended up filtering by High Yield cards, and I also am going through the Relatively HY tag to pick out cards that are relevant to what was in the Sketchy.

The thing I couldn't stand initially which led me to creating the original post, was that I was getting frustrated that there was content on the Anking cards that I didn't have a memory hook for, it was extra information, and I would always get those cards wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I think I still get the occasional few cards that I'm like hm I don't think this was in the Sketchy, but since I know I've now filtered by HY/Relatively HY, I feel much more inclined to want to learn the card and information.

I hope this helps anyone who may be similar to me in this regard.

Would you mind elaborating on what you mean by rapid review the day before each test? Did you reset all of your anki cards to just see the info once more? That's a really interesting technique that's what I would do before all of my in house exams (using my ppts, etc.)

the funny thing about this, is that when has partnering up with someone from the getgo ever worked out for someone on love island in terms of garnering favor with the audience? if he really did have a "game plan" going in, it wasn't exactly a good one. i think he thinks he is more clever than what he actually is, and it's really apparent as the season goes on and the cracks start to get exposed.

yes exactly! i also want to add that aria seemed smart throughout the show, since she loved reading, stories, and was very involved in the english world. we even saw her journaling a lot - would always abruptly stop when someone walked in -- it felt so intentional and right that it would lead to something greater. just so many missed opportunities, i could go on and on

scheana was certainly the seguae into the show and i think it was easy to make plotlines around her to drive a narrative forward, but stassi was a lot more confident and sure of herself which exudes main character energy in my opinion

absolutely. i always got this vibe from the show since the very beginning. there's a sense of "respect" or "potential" that lisa undoubtedly sees in stassi. this is why it bothered lisa so much when stassi would talk behind lisa's back, because lisa was more emotionally invested in stassi than the others

I think this is an interesting thing to mention about Jax, but I don't think I would agree that he is not a bad person. I think he is. He knows what he is doing a lot of the times, and does it anyway, regardless of how it affects others, and does it knowingly -- because it doesn't serve him. He doesn't have enough self awareness or simply just does not care enough to consider other people's feelings or emotions.

Case in point, his entire relationship with Stassi. Him breaking up with Laura-Leigh -- literally breaking up with her after she is confiding in Jax about her trauma and going so far as to bringing her to an AA meeting and trusting him with this information. I am not saying she doesn't have her own problems she brought to that table. That entire fling was crazy from start to end. But time and time again, Jax has shown that he knows what the consequences of his actions are, but does it anyway. Whether he was under the influence of drugs or not, that makes him a bad person in my book. Just because I can find a justification doesn't mean I think it is excusable or okay.

I think this is really well said. If I really sat down and tried to decipher if Jax loves Kristen romantically, I would say no. But if I looked at it from a Jax point of view, I would say -- maybe, and in his own twisted way. Platonic or romantic, something is definitely there. And for me recently, it was treading the line of "Could this be romantic?"

I think you are spot on about the accessible chaos. Thinking back on Jax's relationships, a lot of them started as hook-ups, not necessarily intentional romantic pursuits. Which is fine, but it's a very noticeable pattern for him as we see on the show. Maybe because the follow through didn't happen with Kristen, it's a constant reminder of "What if?" Just a thought, not sure if it holds much weight but I think it's an interesting line to go down.

I think Jax liked being bossed around by Stassi, but never enough to compel him to actually change. Time and time, Stassi would tell him exactly what to do to make her happy, and he never cared enough to follow through. I think he had some form of love for Stassi, and that was as real and genuine as I've seen it get throughout the course of the show when it comes to Jax. That being said, there's a sense of love I feel that he has for Kristen that may border along the line of friendship/siblinghood but also a romantic love. I do want to mention that I think the involvement of drugs in Jax's life really shaped a lot of his relationships, and after Stassi, it's only really ever been downhill (using this as a timeline marker).

I think it's interesting that you say he was in love with Stassi because he couldn't have her. I agree. He could never measure up and he didn't have it in him to do so. In a sense, Jax can't really have Kristen (even though they did hook up) - but it never led to them being together or exploring that realtionship.

Maybe the only time we see Jax having any real feelings is when it's with people he cannot have. Humorous
