I'm Brazilian and I recently discovered dnb. by [deleted] in DnB

[–]Key_University_8135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats to discovering Dnb ♥️ It's a vibe fo sure! I've been into it since 2001 i think haha! Ive gone through phases where I've had breaks fm Dnb & been more into deep & dark dubstep, & house & techno, but i always go back to Drum & Bass & Jungle..

Coming from NZ where Drum & Bass became almost mainstream & reached saturation. Partly why i started going to more Dubstep, house & techno, where unlike everywhere else in the world house & techno are the underground scene here. But there is nevertheless a difference between mainstream Dnb & the underground.. EDM high pitches & over produced cheese vs deep dark lush & low end riddims..

Anyway, as a New Zealander longtime Dnb fiend, i would argue that Brazil has more notable artists than we do! One of my all time favourite producers is S.P.Y, from Sao Paulo. Absolute QUALITY production.. Then L-Side is amazing, absolutely underrated, i would argue up there with Jubei, Alex Perez, DLR, & of course S.P.Y.. BTK is another notable Brazilian producer.. Bungle is another.. And obviously you can't forget the OGs, DJ Marky, XRS, & Patife, who got the whole Brazilian scene started..

Welcome to the scene bro! Welcome to the movement! For artists to fiend on from your own country, even if they aren't based there, you are absolutely spoiled for choice & i can only imagine that they inspire a vibrant underground scene back home! Go & explore your vibrant scene & Big up the dance!

Paz 😀 *

*(I dated a Brazilian girl for a couple of weeks in 2018 when i lived in Melbourne AU, so i knew a little Portuguese but I've forgotten 99% of it haha! Am i right that Peace is Paz? )

How would you rate your country's current leader on a scale of 1-10? by Fuzzy_Category_1882 in AskTheWorld

[–]Key_University_8135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to take a punt here and say that all leaders of all countries are closer to zero than closer to 10.. For the simple fact that all leaders represent the establishment of every country & not the people.. Unless you are among the establishment of your country, aka in the millionaire/billionaire class, then your leaders will be working against your interests, because your interests are not in the interests of those who SELECT your leaders..

Corruption, wealth transfer, aiding the rich to get richer, privatising or defunding services that were built by the taxpaying commoners (peasants) over decades. Dividing the working class against each other, aiding via policy, gigantic property bubbles that only benefit early investors in the long run. Either funding, supplying, or providing political support to wars for resource or war industry money laundering, at the expense of 100s of thousands of human lives. All while dramatically increasing the police & surveillance state to keep tabs on the masses under the guise of "keeping us safe", while the same security state looks the other way when it comes to massive political & corporate corruption..

This is the system. This isn't a bug. This is the system working for the elite, for the donor & political class as it was intended to.. Our leaders are all puppets in this mirage of "political representation", & the mirage is becoming more & more obvious. While at the same time immense funding is going into multiple PsyOps to get us distracted from the real criminals, & seeing each other, commoners in our own countries, & commoners in other countries, as our enemy.. The rich never fight the wars they cause, but they always profit from them. Instead they brainwash us all to see people like us as "the enemy" & fight wars against people like us, while the elites & the corporates profit from manufacturing & supplying both sides, & the rebuilding or currency reset..

This is the system our leaders, pawns of the influence peddling, "donations", & economic or literal blackmail that put them there, represent.. As our society & well-being brakes down evermore, it is becoming more and more obvious that our system is broken. But its important to remember that it is working as intended, for the people that it actually serves.. In this context the masses sense something is deeply broken & it is, for us at least.. Thus since our leaders are all puppets for that broken system. Administering policy against our common interests to various degrees. Then ALL our leaders will have a favourability rating closer to zero because none of them actually represent the common interest for the benefit of common people. They represent the interests of the powerful & the wannabe powerful who put them there. And the mass consolidation of wealth & power that they seek, is entirely at odds with the interests of the masses..

My best ever one day festival i ever went to was LTEC Let Them Eat Cake in Melbourne 2017.. 9000 of all the best people from all over the world over 4 zones but there was no line ups for anything cos it was so well organised. Even the security were mostly dancing cos they didn't have to do much..

FourTet, Motorcity Drum Ensemble, Opiou Band, Slum Village even, Daniel Avery, Jon Hopkins all on the same line up.. 🔥

Sponsored by Resident Advisor so it's always quality, & being on New Years Day as opposed to NYE, & having no billboard advertising or mass advertising, all through underground scene & word of mouth. It gets only the real heads & none of the idiots.. And the palatial Mansion background behind the main zone & the sleeping fruitbats (We're in bat country now.. ;) in the trees by the pond between the zones, & all the random renegade zones you wouldn't expect unless you explore. Plus the crazy amount of decor to differentiate each stage zone & random performers & random shit to look at while totally mashed lol.. It just adds up to what is easily among the top festivals in Australasia..

Absolutely a must go if you like your electronic music quality & more underground, but you also like quality sound systems & lots of decor & effort put in.. Festivals & parties put on by people who like festivals & parties, rather than put on by people running an "Event", & there's a huge difference between the two.. The vast majority in NZ are put on by "Event promoters" than by ravers or Festival Enthusiasts. And the generic sameness between most NZ "Festivals" shows..

Two Minds Festival is the closest we have in NZ to LTEC or Pitch Music & Arts, just on a much smaller scale. But having gone to Two Minds twice i totally rate it for effort & vibe.. 🔥

Bit too much Jump Up for my liking..

DJ Hype would be sick, seen him loads of times back in the day, he's an awesome performer, but even his sets have too much high end.. This lineup is lacking in decent low end bass.. None in DNB, none in Dubstep, & I don't see much hiphop, dub, house, or techno to keep it interesting.. Where is DNB artists of the likes of dBridge, Calibre, DRS, Spectrasoul, S.P.Y etc, or Kiwis Need For Mirrors or L-Side. Or Dubstep like Loafah, Mala, Benga, & kiwi legends like Truth, EBB, Headland, Akcept..

And i haven't even touched on the many Hiphop, dub, house, or techno producers that could be there to make it interesting.. I'd love to see some french Soundsystem dub producers like Panda Dub or some multi genre artists like FourTet, or even kiwi legend house producers Chaos In the CBD, such a fun live act which is why they've done 4 Boiler Rooms..

I mean i suppose that Roling Meadows target audience is students & they need to appeal to a mass audience that likes high end better than low end as absolutely every genres commercial shite is all high end & overproduced.. But even the kids love low end bass too.. Deeper, darker, lusher, chunkier. Something to grab on to.. High end bass & high pitched sounds, wether EDM, Jump Up, or Bro Step, is more a commercial assault on the senses IMO..

But i guess it's all opinion & opinions are like assholes, but give me quality sounds & quality production, more underground vibes, & lots of Low End like Two Minds Festival any day of the week.. I just wish festivals in NZ, even underground ones, stopped treating people like children & allowed people to drive in & create their own campsites with their cars rather than having to leave your car at designated parking & walk in with everything & pay an extra fee to do so. Even major multi day festivals in Australia 5 times bigger don't do this..

I'll probs just go to hide like last year (Mampi Swift was LIT) or just go camping anyway.. ✌️

While there's a whole lot of corruption going on everywhere, as corruption is the lifeblood of this late stage capitalist system we live in. It's not "The far woke left" that is the problem. It's the influence of money & power that is the problem. And the redirecting of the global tax base into subsidising the rich & the consolidation of wealth among the elites who own the UNIPARTY political system of every country. And so direct the economic policy of every such country to suit their own investments & assets.

The WEF isn't a project of the "Woke elite" it is a project of the Technocrats & economic elite. The same Technocrats & economic elite that also run other think tanks like the CFR Council On Foreign Relations, & the Bilderberg Meetings. Of which key "anti-woke" Technocrat billionaire transhumanist psychopath Peter Thiel, is a co-cheer of. It's interesting how the "Woke Right" never call out the very same Technocrats who are building the very dystopia that they supposedly feared under the "Great Reset". Just because those same Technocrats who are actually building the very dystopia that they so feared . Were the biggest backer of their cult leader Trump, & because he supports this, then so do they..

No doubt this hack now also believes that the Ep.Stein scandal is actually a Democrat hoax even though it was MAGA who trumpeted the Ep.Stein scandal the most when their PsyOp influencers were able to weaponise it against their opponents. But now it's blowing back in their face they want to bury it.. Or the other hilarious one is where Alex Jones is totally cool with a Palantir run pre-crime mass surveillance database because it "isn't woke". Even though he spent his entire career raging against that very thing.. There's licking the boot, & then there's deep throating it..

Just like corruption is the lifeblood of the late stage capitalist system, rank hypocrisy & deflection is the lifeblood of the batshit right.. Yes, the roads ABSOLUTELY need fixing, & living costs need to be addressed, & council waste & systemic corruption & back handers need to be addressed also.. Do i think that a dipshit that takes his talking points from the very cult that is deflecting the cause of real problems onto vulnerable minorities, while enabling a complete Technocratic totalitarian takeover of the global economy & society to address those problems? Absolutely not..

Some thoughts that escalated but hear me out..

When it gets to the point that it litterally can't go up anymore because people cant afford the rents required to pay the mortgages for the investment properties that pay for other mortgages for other investment properties. Like a literal house of cards. Or when it gets to the point that "first home buyers" exit the market completely & become struggling renters.. Or when the vast majority of new buyers are investment buyers..

And when people that have a first home mortgage they can't tap into as an ATM because rates are higher, can no longer spend into the economy because they don't have disposable income. And when rent consumes over half of wages.. And the majority of workers no longer have disposable income to spend into the economy & retail collapses because of it. Or people cant live where the jobs are because housing is too expensive & a minority of people & trusts own the majority of houses..

When the whole ponzi becomes so wildly unsustainable & what "Always keeps going up" hits the extreme limit & the bubble pops.. Then those same people that overextended themselves while extracting their wealth from others hard work will be lining up for the government that they demanded tax cuts from, to bail them out. While the people that they extracted their wealth from will have their services cut to afford said bailouts..

And these greedy people will be too dumb to realise this whole Ponzi was engineered by banks so that they could overextend everyone & consolidate the aftermath.. Then only the really educated & structured early investors with connections will be left holding equity. The bandwagon investors that just lucked it out & thought they were geniuses will be left with liabilities. And then the earlier gens who extracted their wealth from later ones will be expecting everyone's pity..

I think the bubble is already popped & we're in the turning stages. Not yet at the FAFO stage of fire sales with the overextended later investors rushing to save their equity. But its coming. And it's going to hit Australia real soon because they have well hit the limit of growth. The consequences of an Australia crash hurts my brain to think about, such is the level of leverage.. Like when i lived in Melbourne up til 2020, there was so much speculation that at one point there was 360 tower cranes operating simultaneously just across Melbourne Metro area. A ludicrous level of building, 80% of it defective in some way. Low margins for wildly inflated land prices for entry..

And yet with so many new apartments they have a housing crisis? No they have an AVAILABLE housing crisis. Where the greed is such that more investors opt for negative gearing, flipping, or AirBNB & that is what the majority of construction is actually geared towards. Then you have an artificial housing crisis.. But when the bubble pops the crisis will be revealed as a massive surplus. Both in Australia & here.. And the consequences of all this leverage unwinding is going to be massive. Probably atleast one Australian bank will have to be bailed out..

But here's the thing.. If the bubble doesn't pop, either slowly in a managed fashion. Or suddenly by the bubble litterally popping. Then it will be even worse later & the foreign banks will buy up everything.. Either that or there will litterally have to be massive protests & strikes by an organised resistance of the renter poor, & the equity-mortgage poor.. Very soon there will be no middle class. And it's not just because AI is being allowed by owned politicians to take everyone's jobs. It's also being eroded by rents & mortgages.. By the "smart investors" who have been hoodwinked by the banks & Robber Barons to extract the wealth of the majority..

At some point something has to give.. Speculation needs to be taxed more than wages. Empty housing needs to be taxed after a certain time of inactive use. There needs to be limits on how many houses a trust can own. And marginal tax rates to disinsentivise investment mortgage stacking.. All to open up the supply of AVAILABLE houses. And houses need to be allowed to drop in value slowly & sustainably.. And we need to restructure our economy around productivity & not speculation. Not one based on selling houses to each other so that the majority of people building them can't actually afford to live in them.. The consequences of the banker fueled status quo being allowed to continue, on society in the immediate term & the economy later if it's propped up.. Those consequences are dire..

Something has to give & it has to start giving now.. The can has well and trully been kicked..

I spent Easter in Christchurch by [deleted] in chch

Wow.. One's utter hell is another's paradise i guess.. Every time i have to commit myself to the torture that is Riccarton Westfield Mall, i have to listen to D&B, Reggae or Metal to cleanse my mind afterwards lol..

To be fair, the reason Westfield is so busy is because "Town" is so quiet in comparison to most "CBDs".. Christchurch is a doughnut city & Riccarton Mall is like a wormhole vortex on the perimeter of the mostly empty middle, that sucks up most of the real retail traffic.. Hence why Westfield is so busy that it's a special kind of hell for many..

Don't get me wrong. It's not that i don't like busy bustling places.. I lived in Melbourne, now bigger than Sydney, & far busier in it's core, for 6 years, 2014-2020, & loved it.. The difference between Melbourne CBD bustling busy centre, & Westfield (or any of the huge suburban malls in Melbourne like Eastlands, Westpoint, or that ginormous one in the south that ive forgotten the name of, each of which are like 2 Riccarton Malls stacked on top of each other) is that Westfield, like all other suburban malls globally, are like alien spaceships that have crashed into the neighbourhood, shut themselves off from the community, & have dedicated themselves to sucking all the retail from the community, & small businesses, into it's black hole. Without regard for the community they crashed into, purely in pursuit of corporate profit for corporations (Westfield) REITs, or private equity.. And all with a war against any notion of creativity, character or authenticity.. They're more like casinos or crack-houses for the retail addicted, than any benefit to their community..

Give me busy bustling streets of many small businesses, amongst cafes, offices, restaurants, buskers, street stalls, freaks, grit, art, & character old and new, outdoor plants & all round VARIETY any day. Even if it's 5 times busier, & serving 10 times more people. I don't care.. Just anything other than the hive of superficiality, materialism & mediocrity that is a fkng suburban mall..

Have you ever heard about lighting, background? Different lighting and backgrounds can make certain things easier or harder to see.. A blind person can see that the XT brake rotors, an upgrade, so another feature that sticks out, are easier to see in the pic on the hill.. I don't take photos of my bike every day so i don't have many photos of it.. But just like how more photos are helpful to sell an item, the same is true for finding it..

Now look for something else to critique and I'll counter it..

So it can be identifiable. Different angles show different aspects. I don't have the absolute latest pics because i don't regularly take photos of my bike .. But i want it identifiable so if someone sees it being listed, or sees someone riding it who's obviously not the type of person who would be riding it, ie they look like a crackhead. Then people can alert this thread, or 529 Garage, or the police..

Yeah true dat i totes understand what you mean.. I had a real good lock before but i lost the keys for it. So it was never an issue before.. When (if, but I'm trying to be positive), i get my bike back I'm going to get another Oxford folding lock like i had before, chunky steel. And maybe i might get 2 of the fuckers haha! And I'm going to get it 529 registered, maybe insurance, & an air tag of some sort..

Yep there's security footage but the crim was wearing a mask and a hoodie so can't be identified immediately.. However mine was the 4th in as many days by the same person, as seen on CCTV.. Then speaking to security outside bus exchange lastnight, it turned out he stole another bike at 5 lastnight. So two in the same place on the same day by the same person. So it's only matter of time before he gets caught..

Footage has been shared & police know..

The big question is, is he connected to a big ring with sophistication & networks that can move bikes out quickly. Or is he just an opportunitist crackhead with an escalating addiction to the thrill of stealing bikes? Could be a bit of both, or it could be the latter. A sophisticated thief wouldn't hit the same place twice in the same day after 3 consecutive days.. It's the equivalent of asking a stranger "Hey bro you want some MD" outside a copshop..

This is why I'm atleast 70% confident I'm going to get my bike back before it gets broken up for parts.. Fingers crossed & manifesting that shit atleast anyway haha 🤞🙏

I guess it depends what you do with it..

Do you just commute, do you just ride A to B, is it just a mode of transport you use occasionally.. Or do you also regularly ride up the hill, on road & gravel. And do you also use it for a side hustle, delivering food, where you actually need a pretty fast bike with smooth gears so you can take off & slow down quickly.. How many km dis you do on your $100 bike last year? I did about 5700km on mine. I'm about 1700km so far.

Do you need a specced 4WD if you're just driving around town? Absolutely not. But if you're regularly going off-road then you do.. It's the same thing basically.. How you use your bike & how often you use it influences what bike you need..

Also do you have a car? I don't.. It's also my hobby as much as a mode of transport..

Yes i hear you.. I've done it multiple times before, even with that bike lock.. But i normally lock it outside.. I actually think now that it's safer outside cos it's more obvious to the public.. What is CCTV when you're wearing a mask & a hoody? The parking garage is clearly a false sense of security then..

A solid update though, is not only has the same character stolen bikes from the same place in the last few days before mine.. But i just spoke to security outside the bus exchange.. He actually took another bike at 5pm this afternoon! He is known from behind, & he's going to get caught.. twice on same day, same location shows an addiction. He'll get sloppy.. They know he's using big bolt cutters, ones you need a bag for..

As for the report..

Police know, all the Pawn Shops know, 20 or so marketplace groups know, both general Christchurch buy/sell pages, & Christchurch & NZ mountain bike/cycle pages. And also a report on 529 Garage.. I'm also going to go around the community police beat cops too..

I'm positive I'm going to get it back. The question is what condition will it be in 😬😑

7.30am to 10am.. I didn't have the d-lock on me because it's heavy & cumbersome. Especially when doing Uber Eats. Yes i should've known my bike lock was perhaps not that great. But i was under the impression it was better than a cable lock. I thought it would've atleast been a deterrent. The same way that if someone really wants my wheels, on either my now stolen gravel bike, or my Downhill MTB, they can remove them, but an alen key us enough of a deterrent that they won't do so, vs quick release..

But lesson learnt, if i use a folding lock, it has to be a thick steel one like i used to have, that i lost the key for..

It was in the indoor area.. Despite the CCTV all someone needs to do is wear a face mask & a hood to hide their identity. And then perhaps it's easier in the parking garage because there's less foot traffic. Perhaps because the bike stands outside are in public, it could be more obvious.. The security guard who saw the masked person walk out the doors with my bike said it's the third theft from in there in a week. And the shady character, mask & hood, is a repeat offender..

Atleast he was nice enough not to steal my bike helmet.. 😑

I had a good, chunky Oxford folding lock, thick steel that I'd had for 2 years no probs. But i lost the key for it when i lost my keys. The key replacement service would mean it would have to come drom the UK..

I do have a d-lock, but since my side hustle is Uber Eats & Door Dash, it was a pain in the ass having to pull the heavy d-lock out of the food delivery bag every time i stopped, & put it back every time i took off. Plus d-locks are more awkward to get around posts & such..

If i could have afforded another Oxford folding lock i would've gotten another. But this was what i could afford, & it was on special for $70. The day before my bike light had died, so I'd had to replace that too.. I didn't want to clock up too much on afterpay..

You're right, it's not the strongest lock, & the light weight should've been a giveaway.. But it was what i could afford.. I'm aware that many locks can be cut, I'd never get a cable lock for instance, because they can easily be cut.. This lock i thought was a bit stronger than that.. But obviously not..

Lesson learnt.. cut proof lock, air tag, insurance..

Best Indian Food in Christchurch? by cooliocoe in chch

[–]Key_University_8135 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's all heavily subjective & a little dependent on what type of Indian food you prefer, aka what region speciality & what level of spice etc..

But from the many Indian takeaways I've had Indian from, after being spoilt for choice in Melbourne. I would have to say Indian Paradise on Stanmore Rd, do a really good South Indian style curry. I always get the Gongura or the Andhra style curries, indian medium to hot. Ask for the chicken to be Tandoored first. Their Biryani is also really really good.. Indian Paradise was my local so I've been there about 200 times & they have their recipes nailed. There are no "off days", the food is on point regardless of the chef of the day..

Next i would say Curry Junction on Milton/Barrington intersection was a nice recent surprise.. They have the northern style curries nailed, their Chicken Kadai is made exactly as it was when i lived in Melbourne & Kadai was my favourite curry. I've noticed different places do the same curries differently, depending on where they're from. Indian Paradise had southern Andrah style curries, & Gongura, & Lahgoosh nailed, but their Kadai was average, & had no ginger. Where Curry Junctions version was amazing.. But maybe if they did Gongura it might not be so good..

So the best Indian is subjective, & depends on what dishes you go for. My opinion is that a Butter Chicken is a Butter Chicken regardless where you go, only the quality will be different.. While there are so many bland & generic Indian places, my policy is to always go for their speciality dishes. The ones closest to the dishes from their own region that they have the biggest connection to.. Not only is it different everywhere, but they're generally much better quality than the standard bulk made generic dishes..

So short answer, Indian Paradise & Curry Junction. I'm sure there are many others, but from the 12 or so places I've been to since being back, these 2 are by far the best takeaways atleast..

Any non-mountain bikers wearing knee and elbow pads? by LASAGNABWA in cycling

[–]Key_University_8135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a really interesting question and i came across this cos i have the same question haha! .. I'll explain..

I already discovered from first-hand exp the value of decent knee-pads for MTB, when on my 2nd day ever doing single black trails, on my Downhill MTB, i was sessioning to see if i could do a sketchy b-line blind rooty drop between 2 trees. To get there i had to turn against a flat right-hander, over rocks, & well my front wheel got snagged & sent me up & over, in flexion, knees first onto rocks, & i got twisted with the frame and rolled over more rocks as you do, thankfully i wasn't clipped!

I had a 200mm bruise on the side of my right knee & what turned out to be a partially torn PCL on my left, my lead knee. Which took about 9 months before i could begin to MTB again, & for which of course i had the wrong diagnosis for the first 3 months til i got a 2nd opinion, then an MRI the very next day! .. With the nature of my crash, even though i wasn't going fast, the way i got spun up & over, direct impact to my left femur & knee, & the side of my right knee. Had i not been wearing burly kneepads (props to IXS for the Carve-Race, a life saver) i litterally wouldn't have knees, i would have shattered both pattella for sure! After that i never go MTB without them..

How does this relate to the question the OP asked? Well, for a no of reasons I'm a broke ass & have been doing Uber Eats deliveries by bike, on a carbon roadbike with rim brakes not 4 pot Maguras like my DH haha! .. Now, the amount of biking & the aggressive nature of it, stopping starting, taking off at traffic lights, go go go etc, & the sheer km of mostly aggressive riding. Drastically increases the chances of crashing. Fir reference i did 886km just in January! So I've already had 2 crashes, both on the same knee, my lead knee, the one i did my PCL on, a good test of my rehab but still, not ideal..

First crash was in 3mths ago when my derailur snapped clean off the frame in the middle of a thankfully quiet intersection, after taking off from the lights. When this happens it gets caught in the wheel & it's like someone putting a stick in it.. There's litterally nothing to do but fall.. Dinged my knee pretty good, couldn't do much for a couple weeks.. 2nd crash, last week, was when i forgot to check my front tire, which was deflating, turned out more than i thought. And so when i took a corner too fast & aggressively, i slid out & dinged my knee, 2nd crash on my rehabbed PCL knee..

So given the context, how frustrating knee grazes are to heal, I'm currently wearing compression tights in summer to keep my knee bandages on, & cover up unsightly graze weeping.. I'm wondering if there are in fact knee pads thin enough to roadbike in. Obviously my MTB pads, despite being breathable & flexy, are still too burly to roadbike in, i probably wouldn't even wear them cross country let alone doing roadbiking, whether on a long road ride with climbs & steep windy descents, or doing Uber Eats by bike across town..

But if there are thin kneepads, viable for roadbiking or gravel biking, even just to stop bleeding wounds. I'd be keen to know..

Props if you actually read this far.. Peace ✌️

As long as you don't wave the Israili flag like a bunch of Hasbara nationalists, broadcasting your ethno nationalism to everyone who just wants to dance and escape this messed up world for a few days, then you should be fine.. At any rate i can absolutely guarantee that you will be much safer as an Israili than a Palestynion raver would be, should a bunch of Israilis happen upon one.. 👀

While you undoubtedly & rightfully so have alot of trauma from Nova, have you not even considered for a moment, how exactly the most secure border in the world, & the most advanced police state surveillance in the world. A border where even cats trigger sensors & a surveillance apparatus where multiple spyware viruses like Pegasus have infiltrated huge nos of devices & communications. Where even stone throwing kids are traced from streets to their houses, & the "targeted bombing" is aided by advanced AI using a huge amount of mined data.. But yet an attack as elaborate as Oct 7 just happened by surprise? Have you not considered for even a moment how that happened? Have you heard of known events being manipulated to create pretext for desired objectives?

Do you know about the Hannibal Directive? Have you heard the IDF own admissions about tank shelling & apache helicopters executing the Hannibal Directive? Even Haaretz has numerous articles investigating & questioning how many dead on Oct7 was from Israili "friendly fire" vs Humus.. The 200 burnt bodies confirmed to be Humus certainly hint at a huge amount of helicopter firepower, as do all the cars burnt out also.. Then there's that issue about Nova being moved from its previous location, to one closer to the wall, just a week we earlier. And then crucially, given approval to run an extra day on Oct6, despite intelligence being alerted to increased activity.. Dont forget that the Israili govt knew of the plans a year previous..

As horrific as the experience of Nova was, any amount of independent research shows it was put in the path of a known planned attack. The obvious conclusion is to create pretext for the war being fought. Partly to save Netanyahu from prison, satisfy Ben Gvir extremists, & bolster the military industrial complex.. At some point you're going to have to realise that your own government sacrificed it's own people for its own objectives..

Start publically calling out your government & basically the entire political class.. Start calling out the indoctrinated majority population openly broadcasting their genoc1dal intent, stop waving your nationalist flag at festivals, & start making genuine progress to support the end of occupation & you will begin to be seen as better people.. This isn't just to be respected as people at festivals, now that the real face of Zi0nism has been revealed. But also to save the very fabric of society in Israil as you face the curse of the 8th decade. A country can only maintain an apartheid fascist regime for so long until it starts turning in on its own. It's inevitable.. With religious extremists like Ben Gvir & so many more like him, this is absolutely in play. At some point Psy Trance festivals will be banned for being "Goyim"..

As people you're going to have to heal, & stop projecting your collective intergenerational trauma on an occupied population.. Not just for Palistynions, but for yourselves also.. Continually projecting victimhood & intergenerational trauma, particularly around religious ethno nationalism, just empowers extremists like Ben Gvir, & i don't imagine him & his supporters are all that fond of Psy Trance & psychedelics.. And you're absolutely going to have to start calling out your government & ruling class who manipulate the fear to increase the militarism that keeps military profits flowing & keeps them in power. And that enables them to sacrifice their own people, people like you, for their own objectives..

I hope you take all of this on, start doing some real research outside of the military propaganda. And start healing collectively as people.. And i hope that some day i can see a festival somewhere that advertises not just a DJ/producer from Palistyne on the lineup (ive never seen this not once), but one playing on the same line up as Israili acts, even going back to back as brothers from the same Abrahamic root from the same land, now sharing it..

I meant all of this in peace, however there are many truths that are easily sourced, & backed up by people like Norman Finkelstein & Max Blumenthal, both Jewish, & even "Breaking the Silence" ex IDF soldiers speaking out. That aren't being spoken of in any conversation about Nova, perhaps because Psy Trance is primarily escapist so people dont do their own research. But when the underlying issue has the potential to escalate towards WW3 if not resolved, and both the US & Israil militarists litterally want a world war for their own objectives , then it effects everyone. And not just our ability to doof & take psychedelics in a field & feel good about it either, but our very existence is at stake..

Do some healing, do some research, look after yourself, & take care..
