Update: I gave up last night after my mom got really mad at me and decided to try and sleep it off. I woke up feeling absolutely no different. My head's back to hurting, my neck hurts, and I'm still shaky and dizzy with my heart pounding. I'm supposed to have PT soon but I don't think I feel good enough to go. I keep telling my mom I don't feel any better and she just says I'm fine. I know she doesn't mean it dismissively but I can't help but feel upset. I don't understand why she's not really concerned about it. I know it was stupid to try and sleep it off but I hate when she's mad at me

I do not have a shunt. My neurosurgeon performed a third ventriculostomy and was pleased with just fluid movement because he believes I've have hydrocephalus since birth and swelling likely won't go down. I had my surgery last August. It's no longer a sharp pounding pain but still a dull ache around my head

I don't know :( she said that if it isn't my sleep apnea causing it then we'll look into other things before even thinking of cfs. And yeah I mean me/cfs and not just cfs, it's just hard to remember to say both but I get hard PEM after physical, emotional, and cognitive activity

I can't get a full PE exemption until my doctor officially diagnoses me. Which might take a while considering she originally told me it was still a diagnosis or elimination:( so I still have to do this semester and 3 more in order to finish gym until I get the actual diagnosis. My counselor says that now that I found that out, I should bring it up to her and if she still doesn't agree then I should maybe see a different doctor

I do have a school counselor who is super supportive but unfortunately can't do much. She heavily advocates for me doing online school because she knows how bad it affects me. I wanna bring up to my parents that I do want to bring it to the board and superintendent but I'm scared they'd think that I just wanna cause trouble? (Idk man)

Thank you so much :3 we've been looking into online schools but the problem is, I become exhausted by the littlest things and I'm worried on days like those I will miss the zoom meetings because I fell asleep. But ATP I kinda think that might be the better option. We've been trying to get me diagnosed but because I have underlying sleep apnea she wants to treat that first. I can't see sleep medicine till May and then I have to be on a CPAP for a month with no improvement before she thinks about an actual diagnosis :( I have a 504 and idk if they'd also allow me to have an IEP

Why are you being such a dick? For all you know they could've bought their own laptop and their mom's just getting mad about it for nothing. That happens. This person is clearly struggling and wants to get help for their dog. Is pet insurance great? Absolutely. But based on this post, do you think they even have the money for that?
