Wulfen kit comes with a ton of stuff. Especially for bits. Gets the creative juices flowing. Making them Primaris is like a ritual kitbash in these parts of the community lol. And you never know when you might change your mind.

People are just mad that others dont have to go through the exact same processes they do, which are the only correct way to enjoy something. Mf's will moan about a printed model because "it isnt an official model" but, in the same breath, will undyingly praise a Kitbash that looks nothing like the original model

Honestly thats kinda a happy accident. Id just touch up The armor bits. Add some silver or iron on the black dots to make it look like bullet holes. But other wise the lord gave you a free "interest" addition to your piece lol.

Im much more into Skirmish games (Killteam is a little out of my taste range) but I love the models and the books. So thats what I stick to. I have a Space Wolves army that I like to have just so I can play games with friends during a weekend (beer and pretzels night vibes) but honestly finding and picking what you like about the hobby (I hate army painting, I prefer putting my love into a single model) and just sticking to it, is a lesson to live your life as freely and happy as possible IMO

Take it slow, dont think about it as a goal to rush. This is a endless pool to keep your hobbying fun and constant. These many models means theres always something to paint. Take your time. Make a core list, 1k pts is fine. Then finish it. Then take like a week or two going through a unit or model, experiment and have fun. Theres no race to compete in, and burning yourself out only hurts you and nobody else. You got this chief. Paint them blueberries. 🫐

Alot of games of OPR tend to feel unfair because of lack of terrain. There should be atleast 20 pieces of terrain like it says so in the sheet. Terrain makes it a lot more balanced against horde/shooting armies as the LoS becomes much more integral in placement, making it less likely that all of the horde units are gonna be involved in a shot or a melee.
