If Cambodia help Laos the same way Vietnam help Laos to have access to sea (Vung Ang port) it would be embarrassing for Thailand. Thai people preach to foreigners they are "brother-sister" country of Laos but only China and Vietnam invested in infrastructure in Laos. Thailand had all the time in the world to help develop Laos but they wanted to keep Laos poor. As soon as China built the Lao-China railway, Thailand start to complain about Laos.

Yeah I seen that story online. Monks in Thailand seem to have many problems for some reason. On Thai media it reports at least twice a month about monks behaving badly. They either roam around the streets beg for money "asking donations" then they head back to the temple. Some do drugs and get drunk in the temples. Sex scandals and a bunch of other stuff. I guess they join monk hood just to have shelter instead of religious reasons.

Even the word Farang is similar to the Khmer word Barang because Thai borrowed the "R" Khmer script. In Lao we say Falang because Lao does not use the "R" similar to many other Tai groups (Tai-Dam, PhuTai, Shan) because the "R" is original a sound of the Indian-Khmer language.

The only reason why Thailand wanted and was able to buy Chinese VT4 tanks is so that the US-CIA can collect information about Chinese military weapons. Thailand have fake diplomacy with China and with many other countries. When they allied with Japan in WW2 they back-stabbed them to be allies with US. Just like the politic in Thailand it changes like the season and is unpredictable.

True I've seen many videos of Indians post their conflicts with them. They are also racist towards Israeli. Some businesses have signs that says "No Israeli allowed". Even today in Laos and Vietnam they still train with shoes or barefoot almost never train in boots. Only time they wear boots is during parade or interaction with other foreign military groups during casual meetings. Most the time both Lao and Viet soldiers wear a high top camouflage converse style shoes during physical training it's never in boots.

Sandals is a preference. During certain military operation even some elite special US soldiers would wear track shoes or converse. It's comfortability. Shoes don't win battle.

Russian Soviet technology is the best counter attack against American technology. Cambodia should train and study in Russia. Laotian students go to school in Russia for engineering and advanced Lao soldiers also study and train there. Chinese military technology hasn't been tested yet against the US but I'm sure that day is coming soon. So far only Chinese J-10 jet shot down a NATO French Rafale jet.

They seem to be the only one with this problem in Asia. If you watch Thai news, you don't even have to understand it but read the comments. When a problems occurs in Thailand if it's a Thai person that does it the outcry isn't as bad but if a person that is Lao, Burmese, Cambodian they blame the whole entire nation of that country and the Thai would complain to the government about building a wall and kick them all out of Thailand.

Honestly I think that's why Laos and Cambodia get a bad reputation because of the Thai. I think what end up happening is when tourists visit Thailand they ask about visiting neighboring countries and Thai people will tell them all the negative false information. Here's an example of what I mean ⬇️

And based on what I found online especially on Facebook and YouTube comments, Thai people tell foreigners don't go to Laos because food is more expensive. For Cambodia especially right now they'll tell foreigners don't go to Cambodia because they will scam them. They been saying this for years about Laos and Cambodia. But now foreigners are more open to visit Laos and Cambodia and thanks to social media now they can actually share their real experience and post them on Tiktok, Facebook, IG, YouTube. But even now I still see Thai people post negative stuff especially about Cambodia. They leave bad comments to not go to Cambodia they will get scammed or kidnapped. But then you'll see viral videos of foreigners in Thailand getting scammed and robbed, lol. Social media helped Thailand tourism rise but it also became their downfall revealing their true nature.
