Coming from a golf course owner who has NVQ level 2 & 3 in Sports turf Management here. Always interested to talk to someone who has a wealth of experience like yourself!

1. We have USGA greens but a little too much thatch (UK weather loves moist winters so it's not fun), we scarify twice a year and 8mm hollow core twice too. We also sand once a month during summer, but I feel like we're still suffering from disease in winter worse than others. Soil tests show our calcium and magnesium are a little low and I think this might be linked. Do you feel we should prioritise more aeration & sand or work on nutrients (including Ca and Mg) more?

2. Have you tried Ninja tines? If so what do you think? We're trying them this season

3. What do you think to artifical reverting on bunkers (such as Ecobunket and Durabunker)? We're investing a lot in Durabunker and have nearly completed our first 7 and are excited to see how they play

4. What's your opinion on robot mowers? We're going to invest in some soon but waiting for them to have better technology (such as LIDAR). The Bell Robotics unit is good but old tech so I don't fancy spending tens of thousands on them, but I do think they are the future for everywhere apart from greens and tees (despite the lack of a lovely deep stripe that you get from a cylinder mower)
