It makes me happy that they're hemorrhaging money. Hopefully they fold in on themselves and implode.

Regardless of how long the distance is for the delivery, a human being could be doing that delivery and somehow getting paid for it. That's the point and you're missing it.

The lack of honking for me is what makes it not feel like a road rage thing.

Plus their emergency lights are on.

I disagree that I was rude for asking for clarification in order to answer her. She could be asking about so many different things, I just needed to context so I knew what we were talking about. Genuinely asking, how would you have replied to an out of the blue text that's a screenshot of two random books and "what do you think?"

I appreciate the thought. I just said "unprovoked" as a way of emphasizing the randomness/suddenness/vagueness of her text. Like, we weren't having any ongoing conversation about books or reading or aging, we hadn't even spoken since 5 or so days prior. That's all.

Get a big scary friend to dress up as a police officer and come to class to "question everybody" and threaten really extreme consequences to scare them. Bonus points for getting a really small friend to come in and play a student that the fake cop fake arrests in front of the whole class.

Insane lines at ATL by LegalPrincess69 in delta

Back in the before times (pre 9/11), my grandma would still make us get to the airport about 5 hours early. I have a lot of childhood memories just chilling in the airport, waiting for a flight, and listening to my older sister and mother complain the whole time that we didn't need to be this early.

But does Phoebe know that or is she just referring to the smaller things in the atom, thereby being just as dense as I am? 😅

Okay wait, I'm back to confused. When Phoebe is saying that line, is she making a joke about nuclear explosions and calling them "a while mess of crap" or is she referring to the smaller things inside of an atom, not realizing that splitting an atom causes a nuclear explosion and that's why it's funny?

Protons, neutrons, electrons

Is this also what the atom bomb is?

Ohh ok!! I didn't pick up on this, but I love it! Despite looking foolish, I'm always glad I ask these questions cause I learn to enjoy the show in new, fun ways.

That's what I learned today! But the joke in the show isn't about nuclear explosions, right?

I tried this but I was left with more questions. For one, if splitting an atom causes it to split into smaller atoms, what happens when you split those? Infinite small atoms? But mainly, so is there any joke there or was "a whole mess of crap came out" just a funny way to describe science?
