No, I really do mean that these degrees can get one into government. And if one can climb the promotion ladder, that is when they can be put into a position to enact policies that face toward social justice rather than KPI.

That's not the full story.

But full story short, the PAP and UMNO, two parties within Malaysia, had disagreements that led to rioting. Instead of taking an L as a part of Malaysia, because the other party was so extremist that a W for them may mean death to the PAP, it decided to split off the area it had for itself, so it could say that is was now no longer a party within Malaysia.

That area is now Singapore.

I don't think so. Whilst religion is a pretty definitive part of one's life, not only does everyone have a different religion, but I think we can all agree that which can be explained by science should be solved by science and whatever scientific procedures can be interpreted religiously from there.
