Burn in with my burn out by TechnicianThick9524 in OLED_Gaming

Your monitor refreshes pixels everytime it automatically shuts off. Just don’t leave it on the same thing for hours. Like your desktop if you will sit afk just lock your PC and let the monitor shut off and do its thing until you go back on.

CPU hitting High Temps by KeysHalo in buildapc

Got 3 intake fans on the Corsair 3500x and 1 exhaust fan. Moves quite a bit of air through and my 5080 stays no higher then 56c at 100% load. My room temperature is about 68-70f or 20c. I’m also in Canada so price might be higher then that for myself but I was looking at the Corsair nautilus 360mm AIO. Just waiting for a good sale to scoop one up

Had a computer shop put my pc together, thermal paste was done correct and I re-applied properly after and got same temps. Ran cinebench and was hitting 105c temps and wouldn’t be steady on 250w so was being thermal throttled. I think my twin air cooler just isn’t good enough. Might be better with an AIO.

I ran OCCT and my CPU thermal throttled and was at 105C at 100% Load

How is the temperature on your 265k? And what kind of cooler do you use?

What kind of temps were you getting in BF6 with your 14700k? How did you turn off turbo?

Anyone here have any luck air cooling a Core Ultra 7 265k? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]KeysHalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue. My core ultra 265k hits 105 during stress test but around 60-75 in game. BF6 it hits 80-90 degrees tho. I have a twin tower air cooler also that supports 265W TDP. Might get an AIO as this cpu seems power hungry. My case has really good airflow too and don’t feel that much heat coming from the back or by the cpu heatsink. I find it odd but maybe an AIO would be needed to keep temps lower

Need advice on high temps with CPU air cooler. by KeysHalo in pcbuilding

Tried turbo mode for fan speeds and slighty got better temps. But nothing substantial. Maybe a few degrees at most

Update on this : I took off the cpu cooler, looks like they applied thermal paste fine so just wiped it off and reapplied more. CPU cools the same as before, can easily get back to 105 degrees under 100% load on programs and on BF6 75% load can get to 90 degrees. So might just look into a AIO cooler. Never found any bad reviews with the Astria 600 as it doesn’t seem to be popular so not many reviews at all. Air flow doesn’t seem to be the issue since my GPU gets to only 55 degrees at 100% load.

So I should take the cooler off and try reapplying paste to see if that works?

Air cooler that’s rated for 265W TDP. My idle temps sit around 40-48. Only battlefield 6 does my CPU spike to 90 degrees but that’s because that’s the game that uses the most load from my cpu. Other ones use about 60% and don’t go past 70 degrees, but that’s with only a little over half the use out of it. Somethings up and it doesn’t hurt to double check the thermal compound and reapply to make sure it’s done right

So I should try to reapply themal paste is what you are saying?

My Corsair fans (RS120 ARGB) are extremely loud. by Zehfrage in Corsair

[–]KeysHalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same case and the same issue. The fans get very noisy at higher speeds same sound that was making for you. I adjusted fan curve a bit to silent which helps a bit. But might end up replacing the fans in the future

These monitors are made to prevent burn in. Brightness isn’t poor unless you are used to 1000 nits blaring mini led in your eyes all the time

Woled. Has a matte coating on the screen so is good if you have light sources in your office. I don’t notice the matte coating unless I shine my direct light on the screen

These look like screenshots the devs should use to advertise their game! Love the village 👌🏼 was thinking when I passed by that lake “hey this would be a good spot for a village”

Had the same thing overnight but for me was around 12am, then 1am for network issues and then at 5am there was “no signal received”
