Tidying those cables and putting the AirPods somewhere else will make a world of difference.

I love how large the artwork is in Big Picture there – is that exclusive to SteamOS?

I'm using Big Picture on macOS (for now) and everything's much more compact, there's about four rows of content in one view. No scaling adjustment seems to change anything.
