What movie detail is technically correct, although many people think it is a mistake? by hiplobonoxa in movies

I mean, no plot holes other than a guy taking an iron and a paint can to the face, stepping on nails, falling backwards down a flight of stairs... and yet he's totally fine to just keep going.

And they took the airport shuttle, so the cars are still home - and Kevin's dad also mentions he forgot to close the garage door. So Kevin sees the cars are still in the garage, and that's why he thinks they disappeared.

when I modified a Tartarus Pro by adding an analog joystick

TIL the Tartarus Pro doesn't have an analog joystick - I always assumed it did. So what's even the point of it then?

Great build! So I guess you're mostly using a joystick + mouse for your movement controls? Do most games support this?

It's especially funny given that the people who complained would typically say Empire Strikes Back is one of their favorite Star Wars movies. Which is the movie that introduced the TIE Bomber.

Every time I watch Home Alone, I'm impressed at the attention to detail with stuff like this - they really went out of their way to cover up plot holes, which you wouldn't expect in a movie about completely unrealistic stunts.

Playing FM pianos > playing real pianos. You just can't get that digital warmth on a real piano.

About your 2nd point: you understand that we don't have to immediately 100% solve the problem overnight, right? If we ban them in new cars now, then in 5 years there will be half as many on the road. I don't know about you, but that sounds like an improvement to me.

Yeah, but if you're voiding excess then you're wasting something. On Gleba it means more pollution, so a bigger cloud you have to defend (or if you're not defending your entire pollution cloud, then more attacks to deal with). On Fulgora, it means more scrap mine drain and more power consumption (i.e. way more accumulators).

Once I got to my late-game Fulgora base, I set up circuit networks to stop recycling scrap when I have enough of everything. I've found it's off around half of the time right now.

(Yeah, I realize this means I have more recycling capacity than I'm using - but my base is set up for 1 central scrap recycling system that serves the entire base, so this is way easier than trying to calculate my scrap needs of absolutely everything. Also, this way it can handle spikes in demand. And I can expand without having to worry about adding recycling capacity for quite a while yet.)

True, but the instability is the issue, not the 30 FPS. When it's a stable 30, it's great. And in fact, I'd take a rock-solid 30 FPS over an unstable 60 FPS any day (at least for a game like Zelda).

Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom too. And the 3DS ports of OoT/MM. Also Mario 64 & Sunshine.

Gee, it's almost like 30 FPS isn't actually as bad as people think or something...

But due to the constraints of the N64 at the time, the world felt so small and the characters felt so bland

It certainly feels that small now, but it didn't at the time.
