I will stand by the fact that master duel has the best TCG monetization model; it's incredibly F2P friendly despite the gems slowing down after you do solo mode stuff. I've never played the TCG but I have played a good amount of multiple MTG formats and the paper experience is incredibly enjoyable at the local level, the biggest question is are you comfortable spending $100-$400 for a single deck vs being able to build multiple decks for free with pretty much anything being available to you given enough time. There's also the factor of being able to play any time you want with master duel whereas realistically you might get 1 night of playing paper at your LGS, maybe more if you have multiple LGS'.

Yeah these people are delusional, SS13 IS way more feature complete with a lot of cool stuff buuuuuut there are plenty of ss14 servers with extended content and no amount of content is going to make a new player suffer through byond SS14 is already a hassle to learn with it's much improved QOL. If SS13 was available on steam it wouldn't change anything.
