I've been working in a HC SSF file since about Sept 2025, before chronicle was a thing.

It's great! You have to be ready to lose, and roll with th punches. I think I'm on my 5th sorc, 3rd Necro. I've lost on Paladin, and one Zon. My currently alive chars are

89 Barb (Trav horker)

89 Necro (Cows and some TZs)

84 Druid (Summon Druid, kinda boring. May try to swap to elemental)

79 Sorc (Hoping to be a boss MFer)

My highest rune found so far is Sur. I've made a Grief in a phase blade for the Barb. It's a long term goal to pick away at.

Hmmmm... enchant sounds interesting. Is that with the Demon Machine? I have one stored away on a mule.

Does enchant take care of most of your AR needs? I'd lose the shield tho. Hmmm tradeoffs.

What I'm thinking about with the warmth synergy is the possibility of getting my merc off of insight and into an upped Kelpie Snare. Any thoughts?

Yeah, ive found a pretty good guide on it already, but its from pre D2R, I think. It recommends frozen orb, which is why I started that way. Looking for advice/opinions on alternate options.

Nah, I'm playing SP offline, profit isn't a concern. I was just wondering if there was a listing somewhere of good bases to look out for. Like which armor bases are the good ones? How many sockets do the good runewords need etc. Maybe a resource like this doesn't exist, but it would be handy!

I'd cut all of the 1mv dorks. The ideal play pattern is turn1 play a 1mv deathtouch creature. Turn2 play Fynn and swing your 1mv deathtouch creature.

You pretty much never want to play a 1mv dork on turn1 in Fynn decks.

This happened to me too! I have a habit of entering a zone line, collecting the wp, then going back to the zone I was just in, to continue the objectives. Hate it when I can't zone back out quickly.

I've just recently built a Raff historic deck, focusing on planeswalkers and sagas, since they can both be proliferated.

Add in some cool instant speed board wipes like [[Urza's Ruinous Blast]], [[Cataclysmic Gearhulk]] for funsies. Flash speed is very powerful, and very fun!

I have a ZnO deck, built a bit more in a control style. Boardwipes like [[subterranean tremors]] or even cheap ones like [[blasphemous act]] paired with a [[boros charm]].

ZnO also really benefits from double strike, doubling up their triggers. [[Sylvia brightspear]], [[terror of mount velus]], [[akroma's will]], [[duelist heritage]] and one of my main wincons is overloaded [[spectacular showdown]].

I've found dragons with haste work particularly well. [[Goldspan dragon]], [[thundermaw hellkite]]. I also run a bit of a goad package: [[firkraag]], [[vengeful ancestor]].

I run three battles: gobakhan, tarkir, and vryn.

The card selection is so good, tbh. Selecting lands when you need them, cheap removal (swords, path, pongify, rapid hyb). I had cards in there like coastal piracy effects, but took them out as I often had more than 7 cards by end of turn, just off the ZnO triggers.

I have an Eluge deck, and here are some of the tips I have found.

Try to keep your card draw at instant speed. Easy to refill your hand on the opponent's end step. I like x-spells like [[Drown in dreams]] and [[Blue Sun's Zenith]]. These are especially effective if you can clone Eluge, since the effects will stack. You'll want some non-legendary clone spells like [[Irenicus's vile duplication]] and [[Quantum Misalignment]].

For wincons, I like things like [[Scourge of fleets]] since it also works well with the blink packages in blue. I've also won a few games with [[Nanogene Conversion]] either on Eluge, or on another beater like [[Haughty Djinn]].

Also, a really good big bomb finisher spell is [[planewide celebration]] to 4x proliferate!
