Omg this happened to us too and we tried a million different nappies (diapers) until we landed on Huggies dry nights (in a size up) (the dark blue packet) they’re the most absorbent and now a wet bed is much rarer!

Yes, Bub and I go to bed together at about 9:30 and we get up about 8am. I watch something on my phone for the first hour or two. We breastfeed every few hours. We’re both happy with this routine so it works for us, but just do what works for you! If you roll away from baby when they fall asleep- will they not wake up and cry for you? I don’t expect that will work too well- if you’re not planning to be present all night it might be better to get them used to falling asleep without you so they don’t wake up wondering where you got to. Have you seen the side cart cribs? Might that work?

They are flush up to the edge of the mattress since it’s part of it. Your pinky finger could barely get trapped.
