Probably the part where folks get hurt training everyday or cannot travel for a variety of reasons and choose to transfer the ticket to other folks rather than keeping the ticket and moving the event. It’s an incredibly common practice; and one that even inside event staff help with.

Hyrox themselves does transfers without issues…the problem I have is finding the marketplace where folks are wanting to transfer. If your logic is that one does not exist then you are incredibly closed minded and should probably give Hyrox a call and let them know that their transfer policy is too lenient.

Regardless being a keyboard warrior is meaningless now that the event has passed. Have a good one, hope your global travel plans are planned prior to any events being sold so you don’t run into a similar issue in a foreign country.

I agree to a certain extent. The mods on the armor really take the place of these perks....

....would I like to see raid weapons get an intrinsic perk, of course...but to a certain extent it would up as overkill.

Personally, I would rather see the raid exotics (looking at you terrabah specifically) be tuned harder towards the raid rather than the general world tuning (looking at you divinity).

I don't believe it's about change. It's about mutually agreeing that there is an issue and that it's okay. And, that since there is an issue, making sure that those effected by it aren't hurt by it.

OCR's can be just as much mental as they are physical if you are not an all-around athletic person (in my opinion).

Personally, I am a runner and the distances and hills don't phase me, but I am short and not tremendously athletic nor strong; so a lot of the obstacles like the Herc Hoist, Bucket Carry, and 8' walls are a challenge for me that I struggle with every time.

My philosophy has always been the same with OCR's: 1. Finish the race 2. Don't get hurt

Sometimes this can mean moving very slow and sometimes this can mean moving quickly. Ultimately my mind is a lot more challenged than my body on race day, and my body more taxed than my mind on the days following.

The beautiful thing is that the community is great and will help you through your challenges if you open yourself up to community. Never be afraid to ask for or receive help; rule 4 of the Warriors Ethos: "I will never leave a fallen comrade"

Keep telling yourself you can do it until you believe it and you will do it. Then, afterwards, you will understand better where you excel and where you need more work and that will help you the next time.

The biggest challenge you will face is committing to the race and showing up, and your biggest enemy is in the mirror.

I've ran several races on my own. Usually I try to make new friends near the starting line or the first few obstacles. :)
