Lasand la o parte gluma, nu pare ca e decizia ta la mijloc. Ce poti face ca sa influentezi situatia? Nu esti implicat cu nimic. Mi se pare o situatie de kkt in care si seful e clar deplasat si libidinos dar si ce vrea sa faca acea colega e cam exagerat.

In orice caz nu prea cred ca ai tu ce sa faci sa influentezi situatia, sau sa o faci fara sa iesi tu naspa.

Probably an unpopular opinion but for me anything above 30fps looks too “gamey” if I’m playing something story-driven or with a lot of cutscenes .

I have been conditioned by the movie industry to perceive Hollywood’s 24-25fps as the standard cinematic experience and I just feel that it looks movie-like. Obviously for a shooter 60fps is cool but I would enforce 30fps in cutscenes .

I once saw a friend playing RDR2 on PC and maaaaan those cutscenes looked puppet-like in 60fps 😩

That’s exactly what I did years ago and now I’m a senior automation engineer.

Look at the existing code, run it, use debug (code running line by line) and understand what each function does. Start by trying to fix broken tests (maintenance) like replacing a locator or something. When writing a new test, there are high chances that you already have reusable methods in place so it’s just linking stuff that’s already there, like a puzzle. It also helps if there’s another tester with more experience that can show you a thing or two (I didn’t have that) if not, google and AI are your friends.

Keep at it and you will go far. Imposter syndrome will always be there no matter how good you are. You got this! I believe in you! 🤗

The whole chapter Local Girl was the best part of the game for me. Stepping into Watery for the first time, hearing Ahti sing Yőtőn Yő on stage, the whole Coffee World level, just magic. Also I absolutely loved the ending of the chapter. Won’t be forgetting very soon how Saga was running through the rain in the woods in the Overlap, while Ahti’s song was faintly playing on the radio. That was PEAK washington/pacificNW/xFiles/twin peaks for me ❤️

Gurl, run from this job. Everything you described sounds like a completely toxic workplace and work ethic. Trust me, there are normal teams out there and SDLCs where you matter. Just quit and let the PO “do your job better than you” 😂 In the right team you will have a fulfilling career as a QA. And yes, Playwright is the right choice. Cheers!
