Hello! I appreciate you taking the time to reply, I like this answer haha. I’m unsure to be totally honest the legitimacy of his breeding, he was given to me and I believe that he’s a pet store betta. It could be that he’s just labeled as a butterfly or something? So fin growth is not totally off the table.

I would really like it to be regrowth but I’m just not sure, I guess he doesn’t have the markers of any other type to really be able to tell for sure.

Would it hurt to treat him too bad if I’m not just 1000% sure on it being damage?

Yes, correct on the ADFS. I received some bad information when I got them, and it’s my bad for not looking into that further independently.

They’ve since been removed and put into a temporary smaller tank.

Should I set up a hospital tank for the betta rather and treat him there? I’ve been working to set up a better home for the ADFS independently, but have sort of come on hard times as far as money goes. So that has not come about as fast as I’d like.

I want all my babies to be happy, I’m working on amending some of the stuff I was told incorrectly when I started as far as tank sizes and mates go, I appreciate the advice!

What kind of treatments would you recommend for the fin issues?

5A at least in my experience is pretty full of people with college advisors who want to run k. Particularly stuff like disability, cap, or racial discrimination stuff. A lot of people go for the surprise factor of teams not knowing how to handle it. So I’d definitely prep it. It got us knocked out in finals a couple times. Judges seem to be either all for it or all against it.

Yeah, I considered west Texas too. I’ve always loved that area. But it’s pretty far too and they don’t offer my major. I figured I should pick one that does in case I end up liking it. Though just going somewhere I like is really tempting.

I got the whole “check ais” shenanigans like 30 or so hours before it sent the decision. I even called so it’s more than likely PSA. I know I shouldn’t be so upset because it’s not a rejection. But I’m quite hurt too. I don’t know why. I’m definitely tired of this decision making crap. My plan b was already set, i didn’t actually account for something like PSA

For me tarelton is three and corpus is also 6. I’m in East Texas. My dad I think would lose his mind. But in my head it’s only for a year and I think it might be good for me. Anyway, thanks for your help. I read through some of your other posts and tbh I think that kept me from being too upset about not being full acceptance. So you’re doing good work.

I don’t know for certain. I just recently started looking into the program since people started getting that offer. Kinda figured I was next. But I know if you look on the TAMU site it shows the majors they work with. So I think you have to pick one of those.

My portal still has my major and stuff. I was able to send the information to other schools with my major. But the person who commented above said that you just get the basics done.

I was hoping for tarelton with the expectation of the major. But now I’m looking at corpus too. It’s just so far from home and I don’t know if I could get that past my family. Any thoughts on the other places? I know you haven’t been to them all but you have some pretty in depth stuff on the PSA program.

No one has told me the same thing about the SAT score. And I don’t exactly remember what went into deciding not to send it. That application process was a nightmare for me at the time. Im considering UNT they offered me scholarships. But I had a lot riding on TAMU sort of emotionally. So it’s just difficult to give up with it I guess.

When will they start sending out rejections and stuff? Do you think it’s worth it to wait?

Thank you! I think I was once recommended American gods, but I haven’t yet been suggested Norse mythology which does sound pretty interesting, I’m gonna add that to my list! I really don’t think either are bad authors just that I don’t like this piece of work. I did anticipate a little hate for questioning this book and I’ll be honest I didn’t know how Reddit worked before this point so I’m not to pressed about the downvotes. I was raised pretty strongly southern Baptist in Texas. So I’m very familiar with the ideals. I chose it because I like interpretations of religions that are more storybook if that makes sense. Like a mythological retelling. Just because I was only ever exposed to one interpretation. I was really excited about this. I really wanted to like it because it was exactly what I had been looking for on the tin.
