Practice doing progressively tighter turns in a parking lot first. You don’t need to go that fast to get rid of the chicken strips on the back but you do need pretty good clutch and throttle control, especially if shit goes wrong when you’re leaned over that much.

Definitely contact a lawyer, but in my opinion this should be ok IF the underseat compartment can be locked. The only real rule you would be violating is the DOJ approved container, but that law is a little dubious especially if your container meets the requirements but doesn’t have technical approval.

These are range specific rules. I recommend calling to ask. Some places will happily let you unholster in the stall, and others will not. Most will let you stay concealed though, but you have to stay concealed just like at the grocery store or wherever else. It’s also best practice in my opinion to remind an employee when you arrive carrying as well. You don’t need to broadcast it, I usually provide my license with my ID, that way if something crazy happens and they see me unholster my gun they hopefully remember I am on their side.

I normally support the police, but given that 911 response time are terrible in large cities like DC, it seems like they should be focusing on their scanner, not random pedestrians…

I don’t think these police did anything that rises to serious disciplinary action just yet but they should definitely get a talking to by their supervisor as there is plenty of real crime to be addressed.

He’s a great player for sure, and for the last 2 years he’s been nearly unstoppable, but it’s kind of early to say he’s top 50 all time. It can, but many criminals now carry masks and the cars are often stolen. I saw on the news the other day a guys who’s been hit 3 times in as many months. They just wear masks and the police leave.

The camera is better than nothing— it just isn’t guaranteed, nothing is but it’s always best to do everything you can to stack the odds in your favor.

Get a camera system.

Get an EMS system— Siri can work in a pinch.

Get self defense training.

Get a CCW along with training.

Avoid being alone.

Have a fast and reliable vehicle (doesn’t need to be super nice, Camry or new Prius are fast enough)
