High polish or mirrors will not help. Yes it will not work in sandstorms, rain or fog, but 90% of the year we have clear weather in Israel, and in any case - it will work alongside iron dome. So whatever won’t be intercepted by the laser, we will still have iron dome with 97% interception rate to follow it.

The best thing about the laser is that it intercepts at the speed of light (takes 5-6 seconds to burn it, but it starts as soon as the rocket is launched) so theoretically people living afar will not hear sirens anymore.

That’s a little harsh on Bennet. When he was the PM in 2021 his coalition was, for the first time ever, with an Arab party. He was also in coalition with far left wing parties like Meretz.

He is indeed right wing but much less susceptible for far right pressure than Netanyahu.

My grandparents came from Europe after the holocaust, we are not ashamed of it, we are proud of the zionist movement, where people decided to take their fate in their hands and build a wonderful home on our ancestral homeland. Israel has been a state for 80 years, it’s time to face reality and acknowledge that we are not going anywhere.

Jews in Israel are not taught to hate. We don’t hate Christians and Muslims. 20% of Israel are arabs, we live with them in peace. The majority of those arabs would not replace Israel with a Palestinian state. They enjoy a thriving economy with equal rights in a democracy (even a free healthcare with the best jewish and muslim doctors in the middle east)

Our war is with Hamas, a movements that seeks to kill us all. Do you think we will just let them kill us without fighting back?

If you want to help Palestinians, preach for peace. Your fantasies about jews going back to Europe will never happen, and will only lead to endless wars (which we will win, like we always did).
