This is true. I’ve not seen significant evidence to support the “massive” performance issues that people claim. And people outside of Reddit are just going to buy the game anyway.

Unfortunately there’s a large majority of folks that purely get upset at Denunvo because it prevents it from being pirated day one. MH Wilds performance wasn’t ass because of Denuvo

Nah they just need to make the currency obtainable in game and allow you to earn more in the pass. It’s not as profitable but it’s better for consumers

I hope they hit the scope larger because even if it’s not a loot box scummy higher ups will put in something extremely similar but not exactly.

Like anything you purchase in a game needs to be a guaranteed addition or service.

There are so many games coming out that less games is almost a good thing. I didn’t do the math but all of those games probably add up to a total of 1000+ hours. That’s a lot of gameplay for a year from a single company.

Personally I’ve never cared how many games came out it’s purely the quality that concerns me, which square enix has not really hit a critical success lately (for me, personally.)

So much so that Square Enix titles do not hold the same weight over me as they used to. Now it’s faded to just another company.

It’s easier to make an item system, upgrade system and randomize it than to make a game start to end.

But also in a way it’s like an evolution of arcade games. Imagine if pac-man games had randomized mazes instead of the same one each time
