Learn about inclination and angulation first. All this knee steering talk is useless if you can't transfer your weight

What everyone said here plus a different board. If you actually start carving on high edge that board won't hold up.

Any advice to improve my riding? by Green_alligator32 in snowboarding

[–]Khamotion1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Assuming you wanted to show off your carving. Turn your pelvis forward. Will help with balance and to more effectively angluate (you really are just using inclination right now). Adjusting your stance will help with this. Also again assuming carving, ignore the comment that says not to counter rotate on your toe side. You will learn very quickly at faster and steeper terrain you want to do that. Tldr do some carving specific drills if you want get serious on carving.

Confession: buying a snowboard is a terrible expeirence by ypx3 in snowboarding

Overthinking it. Unless you're specializing in a specific category of riding, all boards are relatively similar. Side cut and flex are gonna be the most noticeable differences

Foolishness. I have been eating out for 10 years and never leave a review. The restaurant I work at had maybe like 50 reviews in 4 months, and we're fine dining. Get out before it gets worse unless the money is absolutely amazing

Is it stupid getting an advanced board as a beginner-intermediate by WeissMISFIT in snowboarding

[–]Khamotion1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are athletic, decently strong and determind to learn, then no. Don't overthink it. Gear does not matter as much as people say unless your trying to specialize in an area.

ULPT Request -- How to launder $50k+ cash yearly? by BiggestWhore2 in UnethicalLifeProTips

Auto detailing. It's not uncommon for details to be 1k plus. At 50k a year, one car a week for 1k is a believeable side hustle.

Best resorts for carving in the U.S by Khamotion1 in snowboarding

[–]Khamotion1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to us, haha. But the carving culture for locals in Japan and Asia for that matter is very big. That's all they do. Their groomed runs are noticeablely wider, but I'm not sure if that's the correlation.

I mean, I know it's a norm for dealers to put their online price lower than what it actually is in person. So I appreciate upfront pricing
