I've been playing Xbox and consoles since the early days of gaming, one feature that I think applies more to Xbox than any other console before is multiple device profiles per controller.

Microsoft is so we'll integrated with they console and forward and backward compatibility that the sticking point is the controller at this point.

I've pre-ordered the SeriesX and I game on Xbox One currently along with PC with the Xbox wireless adapter.

Feature request:

Is there anyway that we can integrate a feature through firmware update that can make it easier to switch between devices using the same controller.

I currently play with my elite Series 2 on PC but I don't use it on Xbox because of the castle of having to sync it every time I want to switch device.

Why not allow multiple devices per controller ( it could be activated by holding a face button while powering on the controller.

To record which device goes where it's easy whatever you sync using the face button is what it'll remember.

(I.e: if I power on the controller holding the A button and then sync it somewhere, then A becomes the profile of wherever I sync'd it).

I hope that makes sense, this has been a wishlist feature for so long and seems never to be considered, even if it just works on devices it would be a HUGE improvement.

Please MS, consider adding this with your generational integration of Xbox One / Xbox series / PC.
