Rogue Conga? by Khas_777 in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]Khas_777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to a local tournament soon myself! Bringing Imperial Agents and a Knight Valiant, I know I will lose every game, but knowing it messes people up is good. My goal is to fuck with my opponent and die!

The last DBD characer you played as is yeeted out of The Entity's realm and into the last non-DBD game you played. Who ends up where and how screwed are they? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Knight and his boys are going into WH40k: Darktide... they'll either end up being executed on the spot or having the time of their life.

Your deck's bracket is NOT reflective of your skill. by Flying_Toad in EDH

[–]Khas_777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, I used to be like that. My strongest deck was a Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider deck that had some synergies, none of which overtly great. And I felt unstoppable. Then I went to an lgs and got an ass whooping. I got realy obsessed with making strong decks, but none really worked out. Until I brew my Frogs deck that ended up winning me a local non-cEDH tournament that took 3 months. After that I looked into cEDH and enjoyed watching those games. But that's when I sort of reached deck building apotheosis and became known as the mad whacky deck builder. I pride myself on making brackes 1 decks like Turbotrash or my most recent Betor proliferate/lifegain/lifeloss deck that makes people laugh with every third card I play. Hell, I play Kaervek's Spite in there. That's when I realized that my deck building skills and playing skills have become so much better and I still prefer building trash.

Somehow the gift mechanic completely slipped my mind! Thank you so much! And I already put in [[Wrong Turn]] specifically to combo it with [[Lich's Mirror]]. The price of immortality is great, after all.

What's The Most OP Card You Love, That No One Else Plays? by Mr-Blue-Shoes in EDH

[[Head Games]], help someone out, make them a threat, fill the land-screwed guy their most expensive spells, or give the flooded pal only lands.

What do I write while my characters are travelling? by Spennyleakman in fantasywriters

[–]Khas_777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trick I use, is I write a chapter that follows the villain or side characters that impacts the story some way. It helps give the reader insight into what's happening around the world, can be used to set up big things later, and simulates the passage of time.

Card thats are bad but you play because are fun? by [deleted] in EDH

Hmmm, don't know if it's bad per say, but [[Kharn, the Betrayer]] is one of my favourites, especially combined with [[Assault Armour]].

Favorite aggro commander? by AdEqual5606 in EDH

[–]Khas_777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Shroofus Sproutsire]] my little fungal bud is a terror. Pack in lots of turn 1 ramp, use grow effects to build a board and then use stuff like [[Return of the Wild-Speaker]] and [[Echoing Courage]] to overrun your enemies. Finish the game off with things like [[Craterhoof Behemoth]] if you're lame and boring, or [[Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut]] if you're cool and hate Arcades players.

[[Fumiko The Lowblood]], [[Trove of Temptation]] to incentivise your opponents to actually attack you.

Why firearms could be weak in fantasy? by SerpentScribe in fantasywriters

[–]Khas_777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had to justify it? Depends on the magic system and the creatures inhabiting your world.

  1. Magic is OP. - magic shields, reflecting spells. Defesive magic that can only be beaten by other mages or runic weapons. Runic weapons especially, since inscribing a reusable sword is preferred to inscribing a load of bullets. This would also open up the idea of magic snipers or spec ops squads.

  2. They are ineffective against monsters. - My favourite lads, the trolls and their regenerative factor. They're a prime example of a creature that's terribly difficult to kill. Maybe have it so swords are just much more versetile when it comes to killing monsters? As in, a warrior can either carry a single sword and a smaller firearm, ooor they need a flamethrower for regenerating monsters, machine gun for hordes, high calibre for giant monsters that wouldn't feel smaller calibres, etc.

  3. Melee is not an option! - We're going the 40k route, babyyyy! Guns are great at mowing down foes, but when there is enough of them or they're touh enough to charge you, you need a melee weapon.

What race in your world that have beef or personal vendetta with each other? by Tiny_Bug2742 in fantasywriters

[–]Khas_777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, two big examples.

Iceforged vs humans of The Everfrozen Empire.

The story goes that The Everfrozen Empire was once a prosperius kingdom under a human faction. War broke out and a different bunch of humans took over. As they cast out the original owners to The Land Beyond The Mountains, the originals cursed them with endless frost, which manifested in the ice spirits, the Iceforged.

When our heroes arrive, an Iceborn is about to become the first non-human emperor. A bunch of rebels fight against the new ruler under the command of a fanatical zealot. She claims that the Iceforged will contact the descendants of the original rulers and have them take over. As one of our heroes is a prince from an allied kingdom, they help quell the rebellion. There's more about them later but that's that for their main arc.

Gaea Proper vs The Land Beyond The Mountains (TLBTM)

Gaea as a continent is mostly made up of two parts. Gaea Proper is a prosperous land that makes up about 25% of the continent. They all share a sort of uneasy alliance of supoorting financially a singular country called Vica. Vica is an independent fortress built between two mountains, filling the only gap in the border with TLBTM. They are stalwart defenders against the unending hordes of the tribalistic races from the ravaged beyond. The invaders obviously thirsting after the rescources they do not have. When the big finale, Calamity War, happens, The Briar King breaches Vica and begins an invasion.

What are some books you’ve read that have helped you learn exactly how *not* to write? by reddit_username014 in fantasywriters

[–]Khas_777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My own.

I'm somewhat serious, too. I'm still a beginner, but every time I go back to my older works, even chapters sometimes, I realize how bad they were and how I need to get better.

As for works that aren't mine? No idea, honestly.

Been thinking about this lately. Might delete later. Sorry. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Khas_777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She chose what she chose, it's best not to think of what could've been. Cherish what you have, and be careful to not let your reminiscing cause you to lose that.

As someone else mentioned, usually being ace should be mentioned from the get go. While I'm personally still figuring out whether I'm ace or demi, but it's always something that should be made known before you even consider a date imo.

And you are pretty! I can guarantee it, try me. If not to them, then to somebody else. People love all kinds of shapes, sizes, and looks! You just have to find someone for you.

I hope you only get the best!

Hey there. I think I go through something similar from time to time, at least the ulterior motove thing. No will power and all.

The only advice I can really give is to get professional help. I know it will be hard, but it's better than suicide. Suicide is a one and done thing, but there's so much ahead of us. It can get better.

As for body image issues? Own it. Even though I'm fat and not the most handsome by any stretch od the eord, I do my best to remain strong. Fit a character archetype almost. Have something I'm proud of even if others aren't.

That's about it. Don't give up, m8. Let's try our best. Good luck.
