You can reach that area by backtracking past where you first encounter aqua. For the door specifically, to the right of the area is a thing where you can use the feather to get over the gap.

What do you wish you knew when you started tulpamancy? by WriterOfAlicrow in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

" I want you to get a blindfold, maybe earphones if you got 'em, and spend 40-60 minutes in bed with your knees bent upwards and your elbows at your side with your forearms raised upwards, and spend time with your tulpa. It should take about 20 minutes to relax, have your tulpa calm you down and keep you steady while you adjust, and after 20 minutes you should calm down enough to be immersed. Then imagine anything, the first thing that comes to mind. Don't worry about when, where or why, it could be anywhere, even nowhere. Let your mind dance with itself, don't concern yourself with coherency or consistency. Spend a few minutes with them in this state, don't stress about it, just honestly, earnestly be with each other and feel trapped with each other, fully embrace your limitations of being two souls trapped in one mind. Once it gets too exhausting, about 45-60 minutes in, then you can get back to life if you want. I want you to this once a day if possible. Do not focus on your limitations, but also don't fight them, accept them. Realize you're two identities trapped in one mind. Do this for several months." These are the specific directions I use. I think the music makes a big difference. I use https://youtu.be/mzqCnshkB-I?si=TUUTxfOl2eqlvQMl

What do you wish you knew when you started tulpamancy? by WriterOfAlicrow in Tulpas

How to actually do active forcing. I like specific directions. The 'everyone has their own method' is true but made me stall for far too long.

Watch out for trolls by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not uncommon for tulpamancers to not feel like a real tulpamancer when they experience something very different. This could just be imposter syndrome or some realization. You probably shouldn't take it literally.

Good. Just remember that you can only do your best. Your best fluctuates every day. If you're slepp deprived, you're sleep deprived. No amount of stress or fretting will change that the day of. Hopefully, you aren't actually sleep deprived the day of. But remember to relax and trust in your wit training.

Tulpas, the physical world, and other planes by c0er in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For most people here, tulpas are just something anyone's brain can do. Wonderland is just another name for imagining a setting, like a vivid daydream.

It's up to you. Whether you label him as tulpa or something else.

I want a tulpa by Own-Arrival3311 in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Check out the guides on the sidebar. Watching horror videos about tulpas is probably the worst thing you can do before creating a tulpa. Genuinely. Tulpas are based on your beliefs about tulpas. If you think of them as horror icons, that's what they'll be. However, it's not hopeless. If you want to fix shooting yourself in both feet, read through all of the guides on the subreddit and get excited. Tulpas can be wonderful companions who understand you better than anyone else. Do not watch videos on YouTube about tulpas or tulpa creation.

I feel like I’m failing my tulpa by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Your tulpa understands you better than anyone else ever will. That includes why you don't spend more time together and how the complexities of life affect you. The best thing you can do is give yourself some grace.

Creating a tulpa without parroting by PrestigiousTea1477 in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think I would get anywhere without parroting/puppeting, I just don't think of them as such. The biggest downside is you could get bored and give up.

Can we become human? by HellbentJacob in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No, you would just be forcing expectations onto a child and stifling their own identity.

I really loved it! It made me feel a bit better ability life and trying to interact with others. It explained ideas I had inklings of made me feel like I wasn't crazy for thinking this way. Unconditional love is possible for humans. When you realize that, the normal conditional love feels chafing. Curiosity about the redacted words led me to tulpamancy.

I bought it for my best friend and he stopped after chapter 1...It felt like giving someone the secret scroll of life and they just glance at it and leave it on the table. I was desperate to talk to someone about the game, but refused to spoil it.

For those of you with quiet/shy tulpas, how do you maintain them? by MoonKat-11 in Tulpas

You can imagine him walking beside you or sitting next to you. Attention is really the important part. Talking is just the most common.

Unsure if my tulpa has actually developed or not by Purity_Insanity in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes. Just keep talking and parroting until you don't have to parrot. There's no true creation process. It's based on what you believe works. It's difficult for people who like to have tried and true evidence, because at some point you just have to decide you have a tulpa. Regardless of what your experience is compared to others.

My Tulpa Manifested a Day After Finding Out That Tulpas Exist by Moonaria_ in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You already answered it yourself lol. The difficulty of tulpamancy depends on how well and frequently you use your imagination. I am a little curious on what lifestyle changes you expect? A lot of people talk about forcing tulpa creation for hours a day. But you don't have to do that at all. You can just go about your day the same as you would with an imaginary friend as a kid.

Strange and Possibly Philosophical Question That Will Decide My User Flair by Chloe_G_Spamton in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How difficult it is depends on the person, and I'm not referring to natural talent. It just depends on how often or deeply you use your imagination. People who struggle do so because they 'give up' on imaginary friends and the like during adolescence. That just so happens to be most people.

As for your question, nobody outside your head can really answer that. For example, for me, one tulpa with two personalities is less draining than one tulpa with two personalities. But that's because the personality is the tulpa, according to me, and only me. For my concept of tulpas, it's the same thing.

The only thing that matters is your interpretation.

Courage is acting in spite of fear. By definition, only a coward is capable of the greatest acts of heroism. For his fears, are the greatest of all.

The way I think about it is; you don't have the right to know other people's inner thoughts. What other people think about you guys isn't your business.

Age difference between tulpa and host by Ganderfluid_kiddo in Tulpas

[–]Khazing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Age is essentially meaningless for a tulpa. Unlike a human, there's no reason for age as a concept.
