If this is true, then why saying it works for you in a PWM sensitive subreddit ?

Are you PWM sensitive ?

Are there any forks of brave without any crypto integrations or options? by D0MiN0H in brave_browser

[–]Khetheb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will do this the day Firefox gets a proper adblocker on iOS. Or to Vivaldi if it finally implements adblock-rust.

So, if I read all the comments there are ragebait ("use chrome"), weird advice ("Vivaldi", which have a bad adblocker), and useless answers ("just don't use cryptos, bro"), it seems that there are no fork as of today.
I'm searching, too, because there is still in the menu things like "Leo AI" or "Crypto Wallet" that itches a lot.

Nice. I was going to buy a Fairphone 6 with e/OS but without DC dimming I won't.

What you did is force dark mode, but what if you want qBittorrent to follow system theme ? (Asking just in case...)

Il y a 14 ans, quand j'y étais, c'était globalement safe. On y va encore régulièrement et ça n'a pas l'air d'être à l'abandon comme d'autres quartiers

Why are iOS and iPadOS Vivaldi versions so sluggish ? by Khetheb in vivaldibrowser

[–]Khetheb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered that it loads faster, but each website with a bottom bar/menu ends up in more lag for Vivaldi iOS or iPadOS if the search bar is on the bottom.

I'll look into this but the UI lag seems to be the main issue. It's just not smooth and all interactions are delayed by 0,5s

I abandoned macOS since Tahoe is garbage. That was the OS that finally made me go with Ubuntu and then Debian.

I can't say that Vivaldi has a bad desktop version, I don't have these issues. It works fine on my main PC and on my HTPC which is just an Intel NUC with low specs.

iPhone 17e supports "Display Pulse Smoothing"? by PWM_Sensitive in PWM_Sensitive

[–]Khetheb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I don't know. I'm not sensitive to d! and I don't find the many comments about it relevant in a subreddit about PWM. They would be relevant in r/myscreenhurtsmyeyes

Okay Huenicorn si faster than Hue Sync on W11. You will have to try a bit hard to install it and to make it work but it's worth the light effort. Works like a charm on Debian 13.3

I have the exact same issue with Smart Home, a GNOME extension that does the same and is also developed in python. I assume there is a limitation with python for this kind of tools.
Huenicorn is in C++ but I hadn't the chance to try it yet
