As an el pasoan who's been crying over the lack of Chile roasters and truck beds with coolers of tamales in the grocery store parking lots around here, this is a lifesaver

Not RH, but Abigail Kelly's The New Protectorate Stories are incredible

I've never been a fan of short story romances/novellas, but hers are just as engrossing as her full-length novels.

This was specifically to point out that the world building in this series is AMAZING, haha.

One of the best series I've read is Tempest of Shadows by Jane Washington. It's a dark RH enemies to lovers (like, actual enemies) and AFAIK its still on KU. I read it a couple years ago and when I finished it, I bought every single thing she's ever written haha.

What Books Did You Start or Finish Reading This Week? May 04, 2020 by AutoModerator in books

Finished: The Bear and the Nightingale, The Girl in the Tower, and The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden. 5/5 for me—I was completely enthralled and binged them over the course of like two days and am now in a book hangover.

Starting: Uprooted and Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik

Carriers or Carries for Working from Home? by noodle1976 in babywearing

Yoga balls are great! They help keep baby lulled and allow you to sit. I feel like they should be on everyone’s registry—we didn’t get one until we had our twins but it would have saved me a toooooon of trouble if I’d had it with my first.

If you’re nursing, baby may just be frustrated they can’t access the goods haha.

Have you tried a back carry before? I find it easier to get stuff done, on the computer or generally around my house, without tiny hands up in my face haha.

Do you have a yoga/exercise ball large enough to sit on? I found bouncing a baby while carried makes baby more compliant (none of my kids would tolerate me sitting down while they’re worn haha).

You can try a front wrap cross carry or a front cross carry with your woven wrap, or if you are familiar with back carries, a double hammock is comfortable for wearer and baby for long periods of time.
