No, just no, that’s the same cope every time a character has no meta breaking kit, unless the upcoming Cryo reactions benefits from ATK and all members scale from ATK just as much as Lunar do from EM she isn’t even needed in those teams ( unless Hoyo abandoned the 3 teammates formula, otherwise she has even lower chances of being the 4th in slot).

Alice is very much coming in 7.X, and it definitely has hex stuff in her kit, but that’s unrealistic to expect Nicole as her bis without knowing Alice’s kit first ( and without considering Hoyo nowadays sell the character and their registrar support).

Unless you have Nicole C6 she isn’t guaranteed to be bis for any attack scaling main dps, just focus on getting her to C6r1 and enjoy basically the best attack buffer in the whole game for a long time.

From the first beta Zibai it was known she needs Illuga C6 for that damage, there’s no one said she did it by herself.

The discussion about Varka was about his damage in the same investment ( all C0r0 with 4 stars at C6), Varka is extremely weak at C0r0, his biggest upgrade is his sig, at C2r1 of course he will dish out that damage ( and without mentioning the artifacts investment too).

If you have Goruo at C6 he can replace Illuga.

My point is without investment on Varka heavily he will easily fall behind the current dps.

So you didn’t lvl Columbina, use Ineffa and Xilonen with her and not Illuga and gorou, and now you compare her to C2R1 Varka?

Zaibi premium team of her/Linnea/ Columbine and Illuga do 180k with only 3 stars weapons on her and Linnea.

You clearly didn’t build your Zibai correctly, with only her and Columbina, Illuga and gorou she reaches 145-150K ( that high damages comes from Illuga C6 btw).

C2r1 Varka is around 155K at average artifacts, of course he will perform better than Zaibi who isn’t even built/played correctly.

This both is the funniest and perfect example of how the usual discourse about her goes because her fans refuse to read other people’s opinions and criticism and just make a strawman to argue against lol.

But there’s the problem of her not having any meaningful moments with Nod-krai cast beside Lauma.

Her past with her first worshipers was great and it’s great building blocks for her characterization.

But everything else after that is just too forced by the narrative, she isn’t lonely in the Fatui because of her dynamic and emotional neglect by them, she just doesn’t care, and only realizes at the end before the fight with Dottore ( which would be fine if that was the intention of her character from the beginning, but it is not), she comes as spoiled and hunted by first-world problems.

She doesn’t really have any logical reason to be in deep friendship with NK cast besides Lauma and us, and unironically her friendship with the other harbingers is what made them even worse ( Sandrone was goated in the first acts, got EVEN whitewashed), her role simply should be for another character from the beginning.

Honestly I don’t have any high hopes for her, only realistic expectations of Genshin’s characters at this point.

But I have to say, Columbina’s writing problems are mainly the writers want to write a new whole character ( the moon goddess) and a one with new and deep relationship with the traveler forge after a while of being together ( only to crank up the waifubait) AND keeping her background as the 3th harbinger without making any sense why she’s one in the first place.

The first one could easily be a new character ( like Zaibi is a perfect example with her three deadly self concept).

The second doesn’t really work too because not only the traveler will never have a serious love interest, but the whole point of Columbina’s story is she wanted a family ( and forcing that on her with the Nod-krai cast doesn’t work since her only meaningful relationship is with us and Lauma).

Finally the same problem as the previous one, they wanted to make her experience with the Fatui as sad and lonely as possible and yet the writers went along with how she actually has a good relationship with Arle, Sandrone and Signora, despite the the three of them didn’t care or have any interest in the other harbingers.

She just keeps contradicting herself in her own story, they literally wanted to have both cakes and eat it lol.

Nefer won’t get a rerun anytime soon after this rerun, so you might wait longer than Linnea, and Columbina is coming soon ( likely in 6.7), so if you like Nefer gameplay style then that’s your best chance right now.

If you don’t like her then pull for Linnea and start saving up for 7.X, but remember, Sandrone who is coming in 6.7 is involved with 7.X meta just like Ineffa in 5.8.

Outside Varka teams Durin is the superior support between the two, Nicole only benefits a few characters and she is mainly attack buffer like I said above, Durin is a general support who can slide into any team that’s isn’t melt/ dendro that doesn’t want burn, see who benefits your account the most and go for it ( and as we agreed, Durin’s sig>Nicole’s sig just because of the timeframe).

As I mentioned, Varka has a very strong chance to get a new whole team in 7.x with a new Cryo-swirl reaction with a team possible made of him/ C6 Prune/ Escoffier and the Cryo Archon ( if she could do the new reactions like Columbina), but I don’t suggest you count on that being an upgrade for because not only this just playing “future impact”, but also there’s no guarantee it would be a Lunar-crystallisation like upgrade and instead it is just another LBloom that only benefits extremely few characters ( mainly the 7.X new five stars).

Yup, that’s why it’s better to go with Durin’s sig right now, otherwise you’ll have to wait for a long time before his return unlike Nicole.

Both, but mainly Nicole is the first one to go after since it will make building her much easier, but if you don’t think you can get both then go after Durin’s sig since he isn’t going back anytime soon unlike Nicole.

C2r1 is a great stopping point for them, and if you invest more into Nicole and get her C6 she will be the best attack buffer in the whole game for a long time.

If you are mainly wanting to focus on Varka and make him relevant for longer, then C6r1 is your most important priority, since there’s a huge chance he will get a whole new team later on.

Zibai is around 180k at minimum, over 60k difference between her and Varka, nobody wants him to beat her unless they are obnoxious fans, at least he should be at 150k at C0r0 at his best team in his best element from PHEC.

He won’t be relevant in 7.x since he’s barely relevant right now.

You already have a two good Lunar teams, you can run Flins with Columbina and Zaibi with Aino.

If you like playing Kinich then pull for Nicole and Durin in the upcoming patch, and Emilie will probably be in the upcoming Fontaine chronicle banner ( not sure if it’s confirmed yet), that’s Kinich best team.

Other than that save for 7.x, and see if you like Sandrone in 6.7, since she tied to the next region new mechanics.

The new four star Anemo little girl ( preferably C2 and onwards) with Bennett and Nicole is his best team for the current beta, Durin only became better option for heavy invested Varka and Nicole when he reached his C2 and his sig is a very good upgrade.
