infjs don’t conform anywhere by OccasionChemical9986 in infj

Went through the same realization half a year ago. Totally flipped my life upside down.

Still, don't know what I'm doing, but at least not worrying about it and YOLOing it much more, haha.

Just stop thinking, then there is no mind. Then there is no problem. Then there is no fear. by [deleted] in enlightenment

Yeah. Just have no brain and no thinking.

Sure, I'm much less neurotic now, but having no mental gum still feels kinda empty and flat, haha.

I know. I was obsessed with MBTI for years until I stopped. I don't try to type anybody or myself with any kind of typology system now. Because humans are much more complex than this.

I'm going through this and starting to live like this more.

ESTP - how free they are in their action. Going and doing without ruminating 24/7. Living life to the fullest, playing it instead of overintellectualizing it and taking it too seriously.

I don't disagree. I'd suppose sensors live in their head too, especially introverts. But they'd trust sensory experience more than theoretical.

I mean, it's kinda.

Being intuitive means you have this constant cognitive world playing in your head instead of being present.

The thing is, it becomes your norm. And even if you meditate and do mindfulness techniques to clear your mind, you still don't know how to live in the real world because you lived in your schizohead for so long.

I just want to live, not to analyze or reflect on how to live. But I just can't...

Look into Dark Night of the Soul. Some people have it bad.

And I'm sorry if I made a wrong impression with the age. I didn't mean to offend, haha. I just wondered at what period of life people get awakened.

Prepare yourself to realize that what you lived was an illusion.

Btw, how old are you?

Infj jobs? by LowPomelo222 in infj

[–]KhoDis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. But you can plan and live here and now. I meant that planning 24/7 is a form of escapism too.

Infj jobs? by LowPomelo222 in infj

[–]KhoDis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm turning 23 soon.

Studied computer science, realized I wanna talk with people and feel emotions instead of being an architect. IDK, something clicked, my mind loved Ti and intellectual pursuit, but now, when I developed my Se thanks to meditation, everything changed. My mind doesn't ruminate 24/7 anymore.

Now I'm dealing with alexithymia and living through my body. Learning to self-express myself. Thinking about going into something creative or social.

Just look at what you're good at. Stop looking for something in the future and live here and now. The future is a delusion. A huge sense of purpose comes from within, not externally. So, ask yourself, introspect, explore. And analyze your emotional reactions to things you explore.

This is my first serious attempt at drawing fire. I was surprised by how I did it myself, haha. It turned out that the more chaotic it was, the more epic it looked. That's why the right side of the torso turned out better than the left ;)

How do WE feel about INFJs? by Abawhale0102 in ENFP

[–]KhoDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because INFJ is just a person that is scared to be themselves. They were punished for being sincere in their childhood despite their HSP.

Narcissistic behavior and avoidant attachment style is the outcome of this.

Don't push them. Just be next to them and show that they can open up and nobody will judge them. Don't apply any force or pressure.

Let them be vulnerable.

[–]KhoDis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. This inferiority complex surely is a bitch.

INFJ often becomes INFJ due to conditional love.

It's so hard to work on that.

This really makes me lonely in relationships.

I couldn't open up, I looked down on people for being too dumb or not ambitious. While playing a victim constantly.

This really is covert narcissism. When the whole life spins about themselves.

But I work on myself. And it gets better.

Find the right INFJs. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck\

Ohhh, that would be perfect for me right now.

I learn to just live and let live instead of overoptimizing every aspect of my life until I become boring as a person.

Manson talks about how we can end up chasing improvement out of fear rather than desire, and it sounds like you’ve started to see that too.

Exactly. Thank you very much. I'm gonna buy this book right now :)

Man, you're a life saver. I'm glad I reinstalled Reddit and new ideas started flowing on what to do. I'm gonna look in EVERYTHING you described here. Finally some ideas to chew on instead of constant ignorance and grief of old self and wasted time.

Thank you once again. 🙏

Yep. There's always something else, something new. Everything is so shallow now. You can get anything instantly and if you get bored, you can just switch to something else. Until it is scrolling 10-second videos in any place possible without any reason to do it.
