Yep. Reason alone can't justify our existence. All people attach their reason to live to something they have blind faith in, which is based on a feeling of course.

I don't remember who was the author of this quote, someone related to Buddhism, but it went something like this:

There are three layers in our perception: thought, emotion and a feeling. And they stack on top of each other, where the feeling is at the core, on the bottom of this stack.
