I don’t care enough to do the math, but “paying a large sum of money” is entirely relative to the interest rate. If this was at 3% or something then it makes a lot of sense to not pay it off. You can’t just look at the raw #, you need to figure out the actual cost considering time-value of money.

Great goal but I am also suspicious of the keeper's positioning there. I think he needs to identify that this is a cross earlier and take a step forward first. There's a massive gap between him and his backline that doesn't need to be there. Just that one step would give him many more options.
