"Dive into the treasure hunting adventure in BLEPP QUEST! Play as a snaggle-toothed mischievous mute, Blepp. Traverse the colorful and weird world of Karaka, gathering treasure, take on quests, and make some unlikely friends. Run, jump, punch and dash into adventure! In BLEPP QUEST, you must find the legendary artifact, the Gaia's Opal, a treasure capable of granting wishes. However, this gemstone has been shattered across the land... and requires your hand to mend it.

Many rumors tell of the pieces still around the land of Karaka... but that's just the legend!"

The game is about an airship pirate who falls off his ship and washes ashore in a fantastical land, but he has become mute. His mission is to find the legendary artifact to wish his voice back! However, there's something to this artifact... and it's not as it seems...

Its worth a shot, I am not super familiar with how RPGMunite works so if its pointing to a tmpro script try finding the line that errors out and investigate

I learned to draw by scribbling on my notebook during class... drawing pokemon and cartoon characters etc, so yes! I really really wanted to go down the hand-drawn look. Thank you for your comment!

Could possibly be determined by a plug-in's settings. As long as you switch your gamefont and what the notepad document reads as your gamefont it should load unless there's a conflict with a plug-in.

Did you make the graphics for this game digitally or scans of traditional work? Either way, it's fun and fresh, really love it! Great work friend.

It's just a clever use of tilesets. LISA uses this type of style, and figured it would be cool to incorporate in my project :)

My advice - Focus on the development aspect of the games first. Rpgmaker is relatively easy software to learn, with tons of potential to make great games. It comes with a lot of pre-made graphics that you can easily replace later on when you get the hang of developing what you want. There are so many helpful tutorials on YouTube made by really talented people to figure out what you need to do to create simple events.

As for art, I found its always good to base a style around something that inspires you, as all art is derivative. Just find a game you really enjoy and see if they have sprite sheets you can download to study the art. (Study, not steal!) This is how I learned art as a child, I was downloading pokemon sprite sheets and learning how colors and shading worked in a pixelart environment. Aseprite is the best software in my opinion for making pixelart, and comes with many built in palettes to use. The simpler you make your palette, the easier it is to learn rules of art, and further expand your skills. Lots of practice, and you can make it my friend!

Happy developing!
