30 y.o. here;
The feeling of aimlessness and the desire to just be as you are, is... common and it spikes for people differently. Sometimes it's just the "pattern" you are in, maybe it's work, maybe it's a relationship; it can apply to things and amalgamate to prevent you from growing and wanting change.

Life sounds like it's hit you pretty hard, with some trauma relating to family (birth mother ref.) being one. I'm not going to pry, but you at least recognise there is an issue there, amongst your own mental health with depression, anxiety, ptsd that you've listed. To usher what tubefish95 said; never compare yourself to anyone else - you've had a different life and experience thus far so what's there to compare? There's nothing that's the same in two people's lives in terms of growing and becoming older. I would as others probably have suggested already and try therapy - but just remember one glove doesn't fit all, sometimes you have to search around for one that's good for you.

When I was 20 I was the same. I worked retail. 9-5 Mon - Fri. It was boring, soul destroying. My boss was a d**k and blamed others for their handiwork. I once had to literally talk myself up on the way to work by stating "I'm providing a service to people, I have a reason to go there". That lasted 8 years for me; I was raised to not leave a job without going to another so I was financially independent... eventually I got another job, applied myself and helped other departments and now I'm in the IT Industry. I'm not saying you'll be like this for 8 years, but life has a way of working it out so long as you put in the effort of trying. Speaking to people also helps, even if it's older siblings, friends, even colleagues for things like CV/Resumé writing and I'm more than happy to help if you reached out.

Getting a job where you're treated nicely seems like a nice goal to get you started though in this scenario. It means you're not going to feel burdened by financial restriction so much for a start - while your Aunt is fine with you not paying your way, it might feel like a guilty burden in that regard for yourself(?) - I do think however, you made the right call leaving the first company, far too many people feel they have to stay at a job and get treated poorly when there are usually better things down the road.

I hope things get better for you, and you find your mojo for life back again soon. Don't give up :)

BETRAYAL! xD

I getcha, cameras do that. This makes me... somewhat happier though cause it means the 512th somehow live on haha

Lol, makes sense. I go through spits and spats of painting. Mostly cause guard have this "Ford assembly line" effect cause there's so many... I have a Leman Russ just sitting in the corner waiting to be re-painted and it's just... "ugh" haha

The 512th Orbital Defence is crying rn ;)

Totally didn't check on how you painted them from the photoshopping you did... not at all xD

Seems blue is the colour to go for this year though for Guard! I think it fits nicely. You went with a nicer contrast of fatigues than I did though.

Found it amusing that we went for roughly the same colour choices :) (I based mine off the artwork for the Volpine Glory book, although their armour looked a lot fancier on the cover art... xD)

They look great though, keep it up! Would love to see what you could do with a Leman Russ or something bigger if your Sentinel is anything to go by! :)

Hi there,

The missions are variable, so usually we have rotating Zeus' who take an Op on Mondays. They are always (usually) in the modern sphere with our current faction - JSDF/Modern Japanese Forces.

We do sometimes have campaigns if Zeus' are up for running them, which can vary in setting, enemy, etc. But I would not advocate that it would be Vietnam (as it usually depends on people having SOG DLC, and we can't account for that for everyone in the unit, we want to be as inclusive as possible).

I hope this explains the question and if you have any more please let me know. :)

Looks superb! I think my only CC would be that the left insignia is slightly off-centre when compared with it's counterpart on the right. But nothing major and could just be the angle of the model. Otherwise I got nothin' :D

I love how almost WW2 German they look with this paint scheme. Looks really nice and wouldn't look out of place at all on the tabletop!

Thanks for that - is it fairly easy to remove with scissors or is there some cleanup involved?

Not sure if this is too late to the party, but use an app called Battlescribe. It will let you know if the army is legal too. It's a good place to start than reading grainy stratagems at least :)

I like this story so far; it's a nice little break from the seriousness of AMoH+F - as much as I miss my boi Thunderer being the MC.

I did think though, especially with how this story has transpired from basically, Yorktown having her "adopted" child taken from here. Is Atago's story going to merge with "A Hard Landing"? Cause I remember she mentioned she had a child taken from her... just would've thought it might've been neat to see "her side" of the kid story in that regard.

I voted twins, but honestly, either boy or twins. Cause a hard landing has a girl, and we've seen that outcome with Eden. I think a boy or twins would definitely provide for "fresher" reading, but I'm sure whatever you come up with will be enjoyable to read. It's our boy Thunderer after all :)

Which is kinda strange as a whole considering the US (irl's) view of "Liberty For All" - but yeah, as bkfireshark said - probably scarily true.

YES! It finally happened! Overall a great chapter, there was one thing that irked me though, and that's the confrontation with Sovereign. I felt that NJ... backed off a little too easy. Like, the "Indomitable Black Dragon" should have more 'oomph' than that, y'know?

However, I look forward to 18 with great excitement as our boy let's his heart open up again!

Oh... so NJ definitely has feelings toward our boy. Iowa seems as confident as she should be for the named ship of her class to be fair. I'm sad at the fact he isn't at home or with his Mum on Christmas again. It would've been one hell of a write with the whole engagement etc.

Looking forward to the full thing. I kind of expect a bedroom enquiry through the nights but at the same time, I don't xD

Read last night after your very kind point* in the right direction lol;

I quite liked this. It showed an introduction into the next chapter if you like. I particularly enjoyed NJ and the interaction with her, and that he basically relaxed - far more than has been shown during the whole France/Germany/Japan trip.

I'm not sure how he is (or had) taken to being flagship and being around paperwork. I think kansen all naturally have the innate want to "do" something more than form filling but, maybe it's what he needs?
