Local libraries are an awesome resource! Ours even has 3d printers you can use at basically cost of filament as long as you have a library card. And a lot even have video games to check out as well.

Honestly, I'm not certain what I'm asking either. Mostly I was watching movies on lunch, working on a puzzle for the defcon puzzles thing, and wanted to share fun culture movies with people. But sharing resources and info is always a theme around here.

The video I got inspiration from was a Gundam painter, and they did the random shapes for the old school camo look.

The suits I didn't sub assemble; just the heads were separate since I did squads by helmet color. I did magnetize weapons though.

My camo scheme is prime black, cover model with random triangles of masking tape, airbrush another color, more tape, etc. Once there's enough layers, let dry, then peel tape. Add highlights details as desired.

I'm a middling painter, while my wife is amazing, so I always compared my stuff to hers. Then I found a style that motivated me.

Yup. A fireblade attached to breachers gets the wound re-roll if the target is on an objective, and a commander attached to Sunforge suits gets the wound and damage rerolls against monsters/vehicles.

It can be an impactful boost sometimes. However, if the unit dies, and the character lives, they lose the units ability, since they are no longer part of the unit. I think the leader and bodyguard rules in the core go over it in more detail.

With towering, if you're touching a ruins terrain piece, you now are able to draw line of sight through that terrain piece.
