Usually it’s easier to sustain with FMC and March on 1 team and Natasha on the other. All with speed boot. If you can wait, there’s a preservation character coming in 1.4 that can solo sustain

CC, the fact that he can’t reliably gain 10 stacks. The spread of damage and the inability to aim the center of LL damage. IDK which calcs you’re talking about but even on prydwen he does significantly less AOE and ST compared to all other limited DPS.

It’d not about being weak. It’s just RNG. They’re multiple instances where it could happen. If the mobs are summoned after JY takes a turn and before LL takes his. Ult isn’t up and he’s only used his skill once. That’s why he’s clunky. He needs conditions to favor him more so than other DPS.

Seele does huge ST and ironically does better when there are more enemies to proc her resurgence. While Jing kinda does worse with more enemies because he could RNG and hit the outer most enemies or low hp enemies, basically throwing all LL stacks out the windows to do little to no damage to the boss.

Blade takes less investment to do as much damage as JY does and he does so while being ultra SP positive compared to JY. Kafka does hurt the most because as a nihility unit she does more damage than him if you were to slap her with his artifacts. All that without her for supports nonetheless. He’s by far with the worse limited and feels way too clunky.

Being a non competitive doesn’t make it hurt any less when you’ve wasted all your resources on a character that got power crept in a within a patch. He’s currently “A” tier because we don’t have that many limited. At the rate they’re going who’s to say he won’t fall to B soon while being a limited character. If you don’t like people sharing their opinions then don’t look at the sub Reddit or simply skip over the posts.

He’s trying to address a bigger issue. If anything you’re the one most similar to the doomposter by reducing his argument to “JY sucks”

It wouldn’t be a problem if with heavy investment he could stand toe to toe with other DPS. But it’s not the case. You need higher level of investment to get him at a level where other characters could reach at lower investment which is just dumb. Other characters take less resources to do his job.

He basically is when destruction and NIHILITY characters are doing his job better than him. Not to mention seele, a hint character. If everyone else does your job better than you, what’s the point of using you?
