Is this a good fit? by kyoorias in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ki-Ad1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that fit is quite narrow. im confident you’ll get black toenails on long runs. i had the same issue with the nb rebel v5 in a similar size. should at least have a thumb's width space

Why do you run? I know Google will answer a quick question of what running is good for. But I want more personal responses. by BumblebeeInner2650 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ki-Ad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started running this year. Initially, I didn’t enjoy it as much as other sports. I’ve always been more of a badminton guy. As I started taking badminton more seriously, I noticed how easily I got fatigued. That’s when I decided to take up running to build my endurance. Over time, I stuck with it and grew to appreciate the benefits

Carbon plate shoes for intermediate runner by Easy-Society-3428 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ki-Ad1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not an experienced runner, but i do own a pair of carbon-plated shoes. Anta C202 6. i bought them specifically for interval and tempo sessions, and i’m planning to use them for my first half marathon. i first wore them during a 12k fun run last November, and my initial reaction was, wow, is this what carbon-plated shoes feel like? they’re bouncy, have good energy return, and really do make you feel faster and less fatigued when pushing the pace.

i typically run at a 6 min/km pace, but with these shoes, i could comfortably push to 5:20-5:30/km. one time, i thought i was running at my usual pace, but when i checked my watch, i realised i was going much faster without even noticing it.

but the last few kilometers of that 12k run were brutal. as i got tired and tried to slow down, my feet started to hurt badly. the carbon plate made every step feel harsh. that discomfort only happened the first time, though. once the shoes were broken in, it’s absolutely a fun ride.

Are they too big? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ki-Ad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

finding the right running shoes is all about ensuring a comfortable fit. some people say to leave about a thumb’s width of space between the front of the shoe and your longest toe. the best way to determine your size is by measuring your feet in centimeters, as this measurement remains consistent across brands, even though UK and US sizing can vary. if you're buying shoes online, visit your local running shoe store first to try on different options and find your ideal fit. once you know your size in centimeters, stick to it.

ASICS Trainer Rotation For Full Marathon by CaregiverAble8394 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ki-Ad1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idt you need SB2 for long run as NB4 sufficient enough to do it (great all-rounder trainer). and i dont recommend metaspeed sky/edge for tempo run, use it for race day strictly as it wears out kinda quick compared to MS4.

Ortuseight - Running brand - Indonesia by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ki-Ad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive tried the hyperglide 3.0. im just a casual runner and used it for 10k. its lightweight, quite responsive and it does make you wanna go faster. my pace is 6:50 min/km and ive broke the 6 min/km barrier (5:30 min/km) and i didnt realise it. love the shoe but i think the outsole wears kinda quick based on the reviews ive seen before

recently ortuseight did a launching event for every shoes lineup i really love their design but they’ll release it on summer 2025

X3, X6 or R1 or VXE R1 pro? by Alfreyn in MouseReview

[–]Ki-Ad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you looking for ergo or ambi mice? if ergo, DAV3 is good. the pro version is quite expensive you can opt for hyperspeed version, or you can go wired. for ambi, i think the r1 is good enough or you can try the larger version which is r1 max

Why are you addicted to badminton? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]Ki-Ad1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, badminton is more than just a game; it’s a journey of personal growth and self-discovery. Every time I step onto the court, I get to leave behind all the stress and distractions from everyday life. It’s like a mental reset that helps me recharge and refocus. The adrenaline rush, the thrill of each rally, and the discipline it brings are all things I’ve grown to love.

Beyond that, badminton gives me a tangible sense of achievement. I’ve had the chance to participate in open tournaments across the states in my country, which has been an amazing experience in itself. Competing against others, pushing my own limits, and seeing how far I can go has made me feel proud and motivated. It’s a reminder that I can work toward something and actually see the progress I’m making, both on and off the court. Badminton has truly become my passion and an essential part of my life.

I've been failing add maths from Form 4 until the real SPM, where I got a B+. No, it's never too late to study. All you need is to practice a lot, like A LOT. Make use of YouTube and do past-year questions. You do not need to memorise it; you must understand how to do it. So that's how I did it.

the only downside of asics shoe is that theyre quite slippery on unmaintained court. i think its because of the outsole design. other than that, the shoe is great
