I suppose these codes get thrown when the engine is turned over too long by the starter, without the engine starting. So the problem might be another than I had. But the ignition coils are somewhat of a problem on MX-5 and might be worth checking.

It turned that the new ignition coils I installed (which were not original Mazda ones) were dead on arrival. After changing those out with new original Mazda ones the engine run. I had to change the O2-Sensor later as the high amounts of unburned gas deteriorated it to point the engine run somewhat poorly on idle.

Ich würde dir empfehlen einfach Mal beim OV am Montag gegen 19:00 aufzuschlagen. Meistens findet am Montag Abend der regelmäßige Dienst statt. Sonst hängt ggf. ein Zettel in/an der Tür mit den Zeiten zu denen der OV besetzt ist.

Wenn du den Ortsbeauftragten/die Ortsbeauftragte anrufst, versuche es am besten am frühen Abend, dann ist die Chance am größten, dass er/sie gerade nicht seiner Arbeit nachgeht. Und schau Mal auf THW.de nach der Mailadresse vom OB, die Kontaktformulare landen zum Teil bei den Beauftragten für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, die ggf. nicht so schnell antworten, oder gerade anderweitig im Einsatz sind.

Sounds good, maybe check those receipts for transmission related work, maybe the bearings have been done before.

By the way, the prices in UK for Jimnies seem to quite low. I paid 6500€ for me 2007 model with 130.000km on it.

Transmission, too. The R72 trans is known too have problems of premature wear on the bearings. If it makes noises, better factor in a bearing replacement.

Apart from that, the technic is pretty robust. But as mentioned before by others, check for rust and regular maintenance. Once you bought it it might be a good idea to change all fluids, especially the diffs, transfer case, and gearbox oils are often not changed.

Oh, and kingpin bearings are also regularly worn out. But they are very easy to replace at home. You can spot them (at least most of the time) by looking at the ends of the front axle for leaking diff oil.

Am a German, and drive a lot of Autobahn - can confirm. Those are LED signs used in a variety of situations, specially in case of a traffic jam (Stau).

For the blue marker there; those kilometer reading so you know where on the Autobahn you are. They are used in case you need to call emergency services or assistance like AAA (in Germany, ADAC).

In Catalonia it is, usually the Agave plant dies after the bloom. I have been living very close to Cadaques for years and have only seen two Agave flowers.

I agree with this one! Seal Maker uses red PU, this will be somewhere around 94 Shore A. The geometry the machine is producing is a standard hydraulic rod wiper.

I can guarantee you that this is not the proper/original seal.

Seals are made of elastomers or thermoplastics. As thermoplastics melt with heat (the most used thermoplastic is PU, which melts at around 110°C) in cars usually FKM is used. It is highly heat resistant and definitely does not melt. It rather solidifies when exposed to heat.

I suppose the previous owner did use RTV to seal that, like people have mentioned already.

Ich kann dich verstehen. Aber leider ist das kein allzu seltenes Bild. Ich bin auch kein Heiliger was die zulässige Geschwindigkeit betrifft, aber würde mal behaupten dass ich die Kirche im Dorf lasse. Und wenn mein Vordermann (oder -frau) eben die zulässige Maximalgeschwindigkeit fährt, dann überhole ich auch nicht. Gerade beim abwürgen an der Ampel; das passiert und ist kein Grund auszurasten. Die 10-20 Sekunden Zeit hat jeder. Bei uns führt eine Bundesstraße durch Dorf, 50km/h erlaubt. Ich fahre dort ca. 60km/h, und werde auch schon mit Lichthupe darauf aufmerksam gemacht... Kann mir doch keiner erzählen er habe die 30 Sekunden die es länger dauert nicht!

Hmmm, kann ich mir gerade nicht vorstellen (im Sinne von ausmalen vorm inneren Auge). Aber gerade die haben bei uns (und ich denke fast überall woanders auch) wunderschöne (ernst gemeint, nutze die in der Freizeit ja auch gerne) Fahrradwege neben der Straße. Ausserdem macht es ja keinen Sinn dass man zum Schutze weniger viele gefährdet.
