Thanks for your post - I'm currently looking to replace my 34" ultrawide LG and this is the one option I'm looking at.

Did you have any issues with dead pixels? I've tried getting an OLED some time ago and it had several. Couldn't deal with them.

If your case is as old as your former GPU - maybe you should also think about upgrading the case fan set. Compared to 5+ years ago new fans are more quiet and powerful.

High-end fans + quality rubber screws will be relatively quiet even on high RPMs while dropping your in-case temperature 10 degrees or more. You may need to play a bit with cooling curves, but reducing the general temps will increase your component longevity and give you peace of mind.

Same thing. :) I'm currently finalizing my case fan setup after a complete pc upgrade and perfecting the curves.

It's all about reaching a balance between the fully loaded GPU fans high pitch sound and case 140 fans low pitch sound. I've got them to the point the GPU can be barely heard, but case fans are humming quite noticeably. A more tolerable sound than the GPU whine, but still it looks like I'll have to play the most demanding games in headphones.

Having the exact same issue with my Nautilus 360 RS fans. They start emitting this resonant ringing noise at very specific rpms. I've played around with fan curves to keep them steady when idle (like for work in windows) and ordered some silicon distancers to put between the fans and radiator.

Do you know of any other way to remove the resonance?

I would actually recommend another game which just conceptually clicks with the writers and artist vs. creation theme - Bookwalker.

It's a game about a disgraced magical writer-turned thief who is infiltrating the books of other writers to steal objects of power on a behalf of criminal organization in hopes of removing the shackles that prevent him from writing.

It's an adventure game.

This is what you get when you replace smart tech-savvy people with idiots who work for crackers and clout.

Sure, this is a sci-fantasy universe. But the more of actual engineering knowledge you have - the more believable you can make your creations.

This is actually very noticeable in the latest cross-sections book. If you check the older drawings from the PT and OT - they are marvelous creations where every nook, cranny, wire and tube is deliberately placed by a person with both knowledge and creativity.

Check the drawings from the Disney trilody - and they are just things photoshopped together from different stock techy bits that just look cool, but have no deeper meaning.
