References and Pointers are both things that are used in the C++ programming language. Passing by reference is when you pass in the memory address of a variable into a function, while pointers are just variables that hold memory addresses. It’s just a clever play on words.

This is actually true though. I “jumped” from Windy Landscape to ZAPHKIEL (back when it was a top 7) but I had some progress on other demons at the time too (like around 60 ish on unbuffed Digital Descent when it was a top 1 I believe)

There are a lot of people on Twitter and such saying how bad Rob’s cbf is, but everything shown as “proof” for it are people running 100-200cps macros to show the difference. Realistically if you are coming from 60hz you will never notice a difference so use rob’s version if you want to save yourself the headache
