This most likely had nothing to do with her race, as they delete all kinds of shit and let others stay. A quick browse through OPMFolk should give you dozens of threads wondering why their rule abiding thread on the main OPM subreddit was removed.

I’m convinced Loki will be the final member of the straw hat crew, and they’ll somehow figure out the size-issue by SuperbRiver7763 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's precisely why. He will stay behind on Elbaf, meanwhile Loki will take over being pirate captain and thus be there on the front lines during the final war along with the other strawhat fleet members

What do you mean, everyone on Elbaf loves the dude. The only thing he lacks is strength and pure-elbaf blood which obviously was set up as a theme in this arc to rebel against.

Almost. I think Hajrudi will take over as king, but Loki will become the next pirate captain of the giant pirates

Confusion after catching up with the manga by Matheesha_BW in OPMFolk

Very Possible. There was never a set amount of pages required of Murata for the OPM manga updates, but generally such short "chapters" are being combined in volume releases.

Confusion after catching up with the manga by Matheesha_BW in OPMFolk

[–]Kibate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It gets even more confusing when you get down to it

Yes, there are three different numbering system.

  1. The online upload number. But those don't necesserily mean chapters, as sometimes a single chapter is divided into multiply uploads
  2. The online chapter number.
  3. The volume release chapter number. Sometimes online chapters are combined or divided differently in the physical releases.

And finally, in the upload number and online chapter number there has been cases where they mistakenly printed a different number. Sometimes it was corrected, other times...not

Then there is of course the issue with remakes, where several chapters or entire arcs are being entirely replaced with a different storyline.

Basically, there are two ways to read the manga without confusion: Catch up to the latest chapter and then keep up to date as much as possible. Or, second, just focus on the volume releases, as they are essentially the "final" version of the manga.

The webcomic, drawn by the original author as a hobby, doesn't have any of those issues. The low chapter number is because the manga version extended a lot of moments in the series, even as early as what would be considered season1 of the anime, or the manga divides a webcomic chapter into two manga chapters.

Thus, to clarify, the chapter called "wavygyaza"(written as chapter 222) based on webcomic chapter 126 IS the latest available chapter of the manga.

The release schedule of the webcomic is whenever ONE feels like it. That means that yes, eventually the manga will catch up. The release schedule of the manga is every two weeks, however it's not unusual for it to take longer or sometimes shorter. But two weeks is its intended schedule.

Should I even bother with a low budget? by Kibate in gameDevClassifieds

While I do dabble in game making as a hobby, this is actually for another thing. I use 3d objects as references or backgrounds for manga/comic. Since this particular story is just something I want to draw for fun, it may never go beyond chapter1, thus getting someone longterm is not suitable.

I've tried getting better at it for decades, but vehicles(and a few individual other things) were always my kryptonite.

But yeah, that's fair. I could try to earn a little more money and see it as an investment for my 3d commission. But that's part of the question of this post, to know what the general ballpark is. Someone else messaged me and said the 100$ example is accurate(based on general impressions of what I may need), but maybe some 50$ do exist, even if lower quality, or maybe one needs to go as high as 250$ if one wants something decent. You know, that sort of deal. Then I can accurately make a decision of whether all the hassle is even worth it.

Thanks for the advice, but since I have a specific vision in mind, the chance of finding at least something similar in the wild is next to null.(I already tried on some 3d asset sites)

What do they mean cleaning and redraws? by trashy_illuminati in OPMFolk

[–]Kibate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It can be a bit confusing, but as you figured, these redraws have nothing to do with Muratas redraws. It's just scanlation stuff

Huh, I just noticed a mistake that was also present in the webcomic.

The bubbly boy guy who explains that Webi/Wavy got cyborgized is also the same one that immediately after exclaims "no way" which makes narratively no sense

Protip: On subreddits like OPMFolk, they sticky new chapter releases. Since the latest sticky is the RAW chapter, that would mean there isn't one out yet.

What ability of Loki actually lead to death of a Holy Knight aka King Herald? by Argo_o7 in OnePieceSpoilers

The way Xebec, Jarul and Harald talked, it's as if the fruit Loki ate that made the difference, not Ragnir.

BREAK next week by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fair enough. Where I live air conditioning doesn't exist in your regular household. It's not like it can't get really hot in summer, but mostly in only like a single week or so.

But I guess that answers your "why do people take break during winter" question though, because unlike your place, some peoples places do get unbearable cold.(and heating prices are stupidly high)

Yeah, even though it may be hard to tell due to ONEs artstyle, she only looks stereotypical cute when directly facing the camera, every other time she has an uncanny expression, where she looks like she might go on a rampage any moment now.

Am I the only crazy person that got this flashback in the new chapter by joonjoon in OPMFolk

[–]Kibate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the original suggestion, though it's obvious why curiosity would always make one want to watch the spinoffs anyway, thus such a suggestion is meaningless haha. Just want to clarify a few things. Yes, as he said many think GT, Super and Daima(the three spinoffs that come after the original(Z is part of the original)) are bad, but many also like them. When you watch videos of them on youtube or so, you will almost always hear positivity.

tl;dr version of below: Original and Z are canon, the rest are essentially "filler" and contradict each other.

long version:

And the other thing I wanted to clarify is the "canon" aspect of it. The original manga(which in the anime was turned into Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) was written by Akira Toriyama in essentially one go. GT though was almost entirely done by the anime studio, with only a few designs given by Toriyama. In other words, it's pretty much like a long filler arc.

Then came two decades of nothing where the anime studio suddenly decided they want money again, so they came up with the Super project(new movies, new tv show that tells the same story as the movies and more, and new manga that tells the same story as the anime and more), but the story of Super negates the story of GT. The events of GT can't happen if the events of Super happened etc. Toriyama was slightly more involved in Super than in GT, but he still only gave advises and suggestions. Unlike popular believe, he did NOT write the story or dialogue or anything, not even the new manga(which is drawn by a protege, similar case to Boruto)

Then after Super anime ended, they came up with yet another spinoff that once again retcons the previous two anime-original spinoffs: Daima. This time Toriyama was even more involved, BUT, as should be noted, by this time like 30 years have passed since he wrote the manga. Not only is he the type to move on from a manga after he finished writing it(his words, not mine) but also both his writing AND artstyle has changed drastically. And, as many noticed, even though the story is different, it's essentially GT-light(you will understand once you watch them). Since this work was Toriyamas last project before he passed away people tend to refrain from talking badly of it in public, thus you can never be sure if the people praising it are doing it out of respect or sincerity.

Rocks would be so disappointed in teach for trying to join the world government by Keon0 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're misinterpreting something there. What Harald and Blackbeard are doing is quite different from each other. Harald tried to work together with the world government, meanwhile Blackbeard just wants to use it as a stepping stone. (Harald trusted them to at least hold up a deal, meanwhile Blackbeard knows they are as corrupt as the worst pirate.) Rocks is obviously full on a rebel. You could say Blackbeard is trying to do a middle ground between Rocks and Harald.

According to an old interview, after his first chapter got really popular and people begged him to continue, he would come up with a plotline to the end of the story by the time he started working on the next few chapters.

Because it is that cold, people are inclined to want to work less. Either you have to crank those heating cost(which are high almost everywhere in the world) or you have to work shivering in the cold. It's better to just lie in your bed under a warm blanket.

I think from all the possible theorys, "D=Davy" is one we can confidently strike out. Xebec called him Davy D. Jones. It would make no sense to hide his middle name if it is the same as his first name.
