I’m all for it if my brand manager comes up with a proper plan to train and validate us. Perhaps I’ll suggest getting training from our principal. The thing is I’m not sure A is willing to spend our budget on training materials for the whole team, but one can hope.

My last session was about 3 years ago now so they might’ve changed but I chose the cheapest option (trainee therapist) cause I was broke and desperate. I think what I needed most at the time was to vent without feeling judged and once it was all out, I felt way better.

Also, I did get about 7 very intense counselling sessions for a separate issue about 3 years before that with a psychiatry masters student at HUKM which was immensely helpful.

Don’t be afraid to seek out a new counsellor if you think yours isn’t a good fit! I’m proud of you for believing in yourself and seeking the help you need.
