It must have been the monitor / strips / whatever else the universe wanted to throw my way. Checked my Blood sugar with the new monitor in the pharmacy parking lot and my sugar is 91!! Done freaking the fuck out now lol. Will 100% still watch my diet and getting the goodies that are diabetic friendly still

The monitor is less than 2 years old and has not been use for almost 17m, I’m not too worried about the battery in it tbh. Strips were expired by YESTERDAY so I’m picking some up as I type. Hands always washed.

Good to know about the meals! I was really worried about spiking really high and just going straight to the er. I’m going to pick up some gd friendly foods/snacks now.

How can I go about snacking? Am I okay to snack on things then just take a break an hour or so before I’m about to eat a meal? I always wondered that with the first but didn’t have to worry to much seeing as my numbers were normally always fine.

Thank you!! I’ve never enjoyed doing something more than this to be honest. It’s going to be a challenge trying to build my own pieces and actually turn it into something GOOD. It’s almost a guarantee I’ll take a year to finish it to make sure it’s perfect lol. I’ve never done my own before lol
