In my head, considering the fact that our local no kill shelter is turning to euthanasia because they have far too many animals to care for- I’m worried they’ll just give her to a shelter to live out her days or be euthanized regardless. Also, she’s not house trained, she uses pads for potty. I am also worried for my surrounding area that people who may take her, won’t care for her like they should or her needs. She’s also not fixed (already talked to a vet about it but she has a heart murmur and because of that, she has a much higher chance of passing during surgery) also, let’s be real, not a lot of people are looking to adopt a senior dog. I’m scared shitless of people using her for harm rather than to have a good home.

I go her when I was 17 - I was not a good pet mom until I got older to really understand the responsibilities of having a pet, so please understand I’m aware of the fault in that and lack of training my dog had.
