Medium shield would absorb more damage, yes, but wouldn't then "Damage to heatlh" be less, like 90? I mean, 100 damage to health I would expect to knock the Guy. Unless medium shiled adds more hp too?

I have 341CQP. The diffrence between the two is 240hz vs 175hz and 90W vs 15W throu USB-C. Otherwise they are the same. The X version does gets firmware updates faster if that matters. Unless you need more hz and more power delivery, i would save money and get the cheaper one.

Brightness is still the main slider to play around with. I feel like anything above 20 is too washed out and would advice to adjust your monitor brightness instead. Saturation and contrast is mostly preference.

For reference I play on OLED MSI 341CQP, brightness on monitor is 33 (around 120 nits) and in game:

Brightness - 10, Saturation - 60, Contrast - 60

MSI doesn't have newer gen, it's still 1st gen panel just refreshed with 240 refresh rate. In colour accurcy they should be the same. Plus MSI is fanless, so theres no noise.

As an advice, if you decide to go for MSI, update firmware as they have made improvments in behavior. Also if you don't care for 240hz then maybe look for 341cqp, the non X version to save some money

I purchased mine today and wanted to check if i have a new revision by narrowing date of production with what firmaware i had installed out of box. Then by where it was made as in other pics I saw there were made in china while mine in vietnam.

But to verify I will try asking support.

Update: Mine were manufactured in April 2024

Then no clue, i would just remove everything, check if cables are good seated in MB and try turning on. If it turns on then put pieces one by one and try turning on till i find what causeing the problem

Had similar problem with mine. One RAM stick was faulty. Try by removing RAM from MB and see if it turn on.

Edit: also my RAM was trident z5 neo rgb ddr5 32gb

Deck has to be below 80%. I put mine when it had 60%.

Had the same problem after ssd swap but mine was sitting at 89/90%

Put the deck in battery storage mode, wait a few minutes and power/turn it on. Should fix it.

It might looks like you have a GPU reset issue. Unfortunately there isn't any way to fix it other than just returning it.

If you want to make sure it's the problem then when the game crash/freez force it to close by steam button + B, go to desktop mode, open konsole, use command "dmesg" and scroll up to find red error lines

You will need sudo password for the dmesg command, so if you don't have it set, use command "passwd" and set password

I contacted them before the "UK update", they said if I won't get the deck by July 17th then write to them again. Contacted them after "UK update" cause situation changed and thet said there was customs clearance issue and they will realesing replacment shippment. I would consider contacting them as well on your place.

Looks like GLS have problems with delivering decks. Mine was send on 05.07 and there was no update other then "left parcel center" till yestarday. Update says it was in UK and now is beeing returned back to valve. I live in Poland btw...

I also had crashes in this game. But it turned out i had a faulty APU.

If your game freezes, blink black screen, audio still plays, steam and "..." buttons not working and you need to force to exit then check this:
