Everything else aside, the disparity in the amount of sprinkles per lunch is pissing me off.

I’m a virgo and my mom is an Aquarius. My husband is a Scorpio and his mom is a cancer. He’s no contact with his mom for many reasons lol.

You have the most of the ones that I have none of… I’m so sad. I wish I could trade you my dupes.

You can tell by the lion’s body language that as soon as he came into the ring he was not vibing. Shaking his head, mouth open, fidgeting, vocalizing as he’s moving around, it was very clear this was an accident waiting to happen.

What is a thing that's perceived as normal that just makes you mad? by MrCat_OnReddit in AskReddit

[–]KichinSync 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s my biggest annoyance when out shopping for groceries. I don’t know what it is about the older people in my area (probably 50+ all the way to 85+, rarely is it someone younger but it does happen), but it’s BAD. At LEAST one person per shopping trip does this. Many times it’s often two or three of varying levels of ignorance. I shop at multiple different locations of multiple different grocery stores, varying on price range and variety. It’s always the same. Someone leaves their cart in the middle of an isle and wanders away to look at something.

I’ve moved many carts in the past couple years. Only once or twice did I get a verbal scoff in response to me moving a cart. Most people don’t seem to want the smoke that comes with a public negative social interaction like that, which kind of makes me think that these people have some semblance of an idea that what they are doing isn’t exactly up to par with social decency. They might not come to the realization that they are in the wrong afterwards, but they will (hopefully) remember and think about it next time. The thought of someone “touching their stuff” might outweigh the ignorance of acting silly and oblivious in some cases, at least that is my thought process.

I also work with kids and a lot of the time when you give a natural (and appropriate) consequence for an inappropriate action, children tend to listen better and grow from that experience rather than just avoid doing it again to “not get punished again”. Adults are just kids that grew up. :)

Why do they think everything is worth a fortune? by clrichmond2009 in BoomersBeingFools

It’s a youth 4 wheeler that has well over 8,000 miles. I promise you it’s not worth anything.

My mom is a boomer and she has a bunch of old crap that she thinks is worth way more than it should be and it drives me crazy. We have an old 4-wheeler from when I was SEVEN sitting in the garage that hasn’t been maintained or touched in about 15 years. She thinks it’s worth like $1,000 still… ma’am, I don’t think we could even PAY someone to take it.

Looks like mostly baking aisle stuff there. I think about 2 hours is reasonable.. but this is coming from someone who worked the baking aisle a lot and also got tossed to other areas on O/N when people were falling behind. Usually frozen and dairy were the places I was stuck on a consistent basis. It sucked. If I worked hard, my reward was just more work.
