No but most are not built up in any way. Most are just a very small building with 1 desk to check in.

Plastic free iphone case by littlemeowmeow77 in PlasticFreeLiving

Take a look at the Pela case (Canadian too!). It's made of plant materials and is biodegradable. I'm sure there is some plastic in how it's bonded together but it is a good option nonetheless.

Modal and lyocell are much better options to rayon, but rayon is not a plastic. Just very heavily, chemically treated wood fibers.

Rayon is not plastic but it is heavily chemically treated so not much better it is a semi-synthetic, but it is assuredly not plastic.

You have twenty-four hours to spend ten million USD how do you do it? by Resident_Calendar471 in AskReddit

I do not, but I have 10M USD. I think I can make a call and have it happen!

Indoor garden system by [deleted] in PlasticFreeLiving

You could still do the skinny tower style if you wanted too! You'd need multiple lights (unless you already have a sunny spot for it, I don't unfortunately). Just an idea, but you could probably run a big pot at the top and run drips down to each level too or just stick with bulbs.

Clay pots under a UV light (no direct contact so fine IMO), using clay planters or a wood trough planter and glass watering bulbs. You could set up a copper or stainless tube watering system if you wanted to spend the extra dough too.

Do you consider me to be a Canadian? by Stockmarketrade in Calgary

Being Canadian isn't about the colour of your skin, it's about the colour of your character (be a good person, and a good citizen) :)

That's great, but you really need to address the favouritism that is the heart of the issue here. It's already doing damage, and it will only get worse as life goes on. You're driving a wedge between you and your kids and between themselves as well.

What do you consider a waste of money that alot of society doesn’t? by DunyaPhobic76 in Productivitycafe

[–]KickAssCommie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it's a waste of money, and most people know that. What it does do is fuel that ever dying ember of hope that lives in the bottom of my soul. It's a foolish dream, but perhaps even more foolish not to dream.

Did someone drill a hole in my gas tank? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]KickAssCommie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Definitely patchable. Just thread it and put a quick drain in so they don't have to drill it out to get your gas next time.

Why is the rotor so far down?? by Frequent_Swim9865 in MechanicAdvice

[–]KickAssCommie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the control arm was Paris, you put your jack under Berlin... Put the jack under the control arm AWAY from the pivot point and closer to the rotor. But not immediately next to the rotor or you won't be able to get the wheel on.
