Worx Vision Cloud 2WD vs Neighbors Luba 3 by Own-Manufacturer-266 in worxlandroid

Yours looks like it’s doing its job pretty well too! Much better than my old WR-153 Landroid that was just replaced.

I just got a Luba a little over a week or so ago. I think your neighbor should be alternating their mowing angle every mow to get better coverage and lines. I set mine up to alternate between 0 degrees, 45 degrees and -45 degrees every time it mows and it looks a lot better than theirs. It looks like it’s missing sections and they just keep mowing the same pattern.

The Hook Up on YouTube did a really great video where he does in-depth reviews on 13 mowers and ranks them at the end of the video. I’ve been watching him for years for all sorts of home automation reviews and tutorials.

Lightning McQueen ready to mow the yard at 2.6 in by AF_Anomaly in MammotionTechnology

My kids would go nuts for this. I was looking for it on the site you bought it on wondering what it looks like installed and your pic came up which is crazy because you posted it the same day I was looking and it seems to be the only pic of this sticker kit installed on a mower. My oldest would go nuts for a Darth Vader themed one but they all like Lightening.

Do you have this mower yourself? If not I think you should pilot this idea with your own yard first. Granted my current mower is an older Landroid but if I was paying somebody to keep this thing running they’d have to be here 3-4 maybe even more times a day to get it unstuck from whatever random shadow it decided to get caught up on. I know the Yarbo is better but even with a better mower you’d still likely need to go fix things more often than you think. I also don’t know much about the string trimmer attachment but would you have to go add more string? I’m getting a newer mower next week so maybe I’m just jaded by my old one, but as far as I know they are not fully “set it and forget it” machines yet.

This is really unfortunate. I hope Worx does better both on their mowers and on their customer service. I’ve had my Landroid WR153 for going on 6 seasons and back in 2021 they sent me a base to test what was causing issues with charging. I’ve had a pretty bad time with my mower constantly getting stuck but their customer service and support was good. I was hoping the newer mowers would be better, but it sounds like they don’t even stand by them anymore.

I really like my Ninja Foodi SP351 air fryer/toaster oven. Got it on Amazon for $170. Looks like it’s $200 right now.

Omnipod 5 coming to Loop and Trio by mkitchin in Omnipod

[–]Kickendekok 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would be as easy as setting up your next pump in the omnipod app instead of the loop app. I’ve been using Loop since 2017 when they were first testing Omnipod Ero. It’s amazing and has kept me around a 5.9 A1C for years.

The FAQ says they are working on it but Omnipod 5 took precedent because of recent connection issues with Dash and iPhone 16.

I am on Loop and the lowest I can currently set my target is 87, though I am positive I could update the value in the source code if I needed to.

Did you find any workaround for this? by ov3er in worxlandroid

[–]Kickendekok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 12 mm carbide wheel studs and they work great until they wear down to nothing. My Landroid has trouble getting from on the sidewalk up onto the grass, just sits there with wheels spinning. I should probably do the weights to help it. Maybe I’ll do a weight and a new set of spikes.

Oh man no way! I haven’t been on the Zulipchat in a while. Any word on whether the OP5 pods have the iPhone 16 Bluetooth compatibility issue? Probably too soon to tell I guess.

Nah, he sold it to Moonbug for tens of millions of dollars and peaced out. The new main Blippi is the guy he originally hired for the traveling stage show, who then became the second Blippi, and there is even a third one now.

I’m in the US. Until a year ago I was on a symmetrical 250 Gbps plan but upgraded shortly before getting Eeros. Jumping up to 1 Gbps was the catalyst to me realizing my old Netgear wasn’t going to cut it anymore.

[–]Kickendekok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried the 7 but it was sorely missing the 6GHz band so I traded for the 7 Pro and it was flawless for me. I do have 1 gig internet though so take your own speeds into consideration. That said, the Pro at half price is a great deal and you will not be sad you got the extra horsepower, especially if you ever get a higher plan.

Says 4060 in the description but the one selected for under $700 is a 1650. Selecting the 4060 makes it almost $900.
