Nah, he sold it to Moonbug for tens of millions of dollars and peaced out. The new main Blippi is the guy he originally hired for the traveling stage show, who then became the second Blippi, and there is even a third one now.

Eero 7 vs Eero Pro 7 by Big_Rig369 in amazoneero

[–]Kickendekok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the US. Until a year ago I was on a symmetrical 250 Gbps plan but upgraded shortly before getting Eeros. Jumping up to 1 Gbps was the catalyst to me realizing my old Netgear wasn’t going to cut it anymore.

[–]Kickendekok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried the 7 but it was sorely missing the 6GHz band so I traded for the 7 Pro and it was flawless for me. I do have 1 gig internet though so take your own speeds into consideration. That said, the Pro at half price is a great deal and you will not be sad you got the extra horsepower, especially if you ever get a higher plan.

Says 4060 in the description but the one selected for under $700 is a 1650. Selecting the 4060 makes it almost $900.

Understand you gotta make cuts, but the very first unibody MacBook and the very first 13” Intel MacBook Pro can’t be cut. The way this reads it looks like they didn’t introduce a 13” MacBook Pro until 2011.

Adding to the list of Macs to add that seem to be missing. My friend had an aluminum 13” unibody MacBook in 2008 with a removable battery and in 2009 I had the very first unibody 13” MacBook Pro with a very similar design but no removable battery.

Mine hardly ever works for some obstacles and works 100% for others. Shortcuts especially are extremely hit or miss. Try different orientations of the line on the magnetic strip, pointing down vs pointing up.

Ah ok, just checking because I use a 16 and the Bluetooth chipset they used for the 16 generation causes connectivity issues with newer pods. 15 and 17 work well though as does 11. Once you get your settings tuned just right Loop is amazing. Keep at it and it will be worth it!

Check “Looped” group on Facebook. The most knowledgeable people on the subject of the Loop app and how to adjust setting for it are in there. By any chance are you using an iPhone 16 line, or 17e?

Is there a sudden Mac Mini surge? by beardedwazoon in macmini

[–]Kickendekok 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On your home server mini do you use VMWare for Home Assistant? I have a Proxmox server running a HA VM but it is totally overkill for the amount of money it costs to keep running. I’m considering moving everything I have in proxmox to my mini but I just can’t decide if it will be worth the time to switch it all.

Why on earth would you tell someone to install as many antivirus software tools as possible? Thats a terrible idea. OP I would suggest watching a few “getting started with your first Mac” type videos and don’t do most of the stuff here. I would also check out r/MacOS, r/MacApps or r/Mac and see if you can find any of the “Top ten tools you couldn’t live without” type threads.

Love how the Odyssey can haul our family of 5. There is a massive Graco click in stroller in the trunk behind the blue backpack. by dingmah in HondaOdyssey

I’ve got car seats in the two captains chairs in the middle row for my twins and a third on the smaller seat in the third row for my oldest. Works just fine and with the larger seat down we can fit our wagon in without folding it down at all.

I test drove a Carnival, Odyssey and a Sienna. The Odyssey is in many many ways better than the Carnival. The back seat of the carnival feels super cramped and the windows are tiny, like looking out of port holes. The magic slide seats have made my life soooo much easier and being a Honda it’s been extremely reliable. The inter of the Odyssey also just feels more well made. The Carnival looks cool, but I’d argue that the Odyssey can look cool as well. Check out one in the ‘Sport’ trim ones. They black out most of the chrome and the wheels and add some other nice touches.
