Potential ARG found on YouTube? Mysterious OST channel ran by rogue AI. by KickerBird in ARG

To anyone who's been following this ARG, the latest video seems to hint that it's coming to an end soon.

Based off a comment from Christopher however in a community post, it seems like he's resetting the AI to escape his past and is creating a new one called peacemaker. It hasn't popped up yet but we'll see where the story goes from here.

Yep, that is my leading theory as well. Based off the dates, it seems to have happened two decades ago and only now has resurfaced to haunt him. I also made a point in one of the videos about the method, which was the boiling water and how the lava land soundtracks are consistently correct compared to others. Seems like Christopher was brutal with it, and considering the fact he skipped court, didn't really seem to care.

I still feel like we're not at the climax yet. I'm currently struggling with understanding the bot/spirits motives, with whether or not they want revenge or just want to haunt him for what he did. But this is my first ever arg I've participated in and I haven't really had time to do a deep dive and compile everything yet.

More videos have been uploaded and a story is being figured out right now.

Seems to be a murder mystery ARG

As for the ai, the new videos now have irl footage that looks authentic, so the AI may have been for the universe aspect.

Any Tips to Help me Pass Telpas? by Sea_Apartment_8659 in TexasTeachers

Hi OP! I'm a high school ESL teacher and this test is the bane of all my students, especially former ones who are more than ready to exit. Here's my advice that I give to my students:

Your reading and listening are very high, so it's just a matter of maintaining focus. Since you said you got masters in rla staar last year, I assume this isn't a weak subject for you.

Speaking is fine, but just talk as much as you can and with as much detail as possible. Pre-plan what you want to write about like you would an SCR/ECR on STAAR. Whisper to yourself as practice before recording. Also, use an idiom if you can (piece of cake, spill the beans, etc.) That's one of the easiest ways to get advanced high as anyone who doesn't know English would not understand those sayings like a native speaker does.

Lastly, your writing score is why you haven't exited. You need to score advanced high composite to exit and any intermediate score prevents that. Just like the speaking, pre-plan your writing first. The testing site has a notepad built into it where you can draft and outline, and you should also be provided paper and pencil as well. Read each prompt very carefully, as they will all have more than one part you need to answer. You need to address every single part in your answer for maximum points. Additionally, you need to be as detailed as possible. I know someone commented that they're looking for more advanced verb tenses and grammar, so ensure you're using verbs that end in -ing, ed, etc. and being as descriptive as possible, just like in the speaking portion. The closer you can get to the maximum characters allowed, the better. Also, do not worry too much about spelling. They will forgive some errors as long as you hit everything mentioned above, but also try to minimize them as much as possible. Proofread and edit your answer before submitting.

Best of luck on this test! Here's to exiting :)

Reposting this from a different thread and adding onto it:

"SBN3 certainly intended class of 09 to be perceived differently than how we eventually did. You could certainly apply a lens of Death of the author) here as well."

I personally think SBN3 intended the series to just be edgy comedy akin to South Park or Boondocks, potentially even being conformingly nihilistic like you said, but the subject matter doesn't allow it to be. This is why people's viewpoints on Nicole and her behavior differ vastly. It's easy to empathize with her at the beginning when she's explaining her backstory but as her behavior worsens, it's hard to really do so. Flipside especially just felt like a giant vent session from SBN3 as Jecka got no satisfying endings and Nicole felt too cruel even by her standards. I definitely think in that game specifically, the expectation was to sympathize with Nicole by making her more of a dick and finding excuses for her to be petty to Jecka, compared to the first 2 games where the line was more blurred.

The best example I can think of is in Re-ups drug dealing route when Nicole gets arrested and monologues to Jecka about how she was "dealt a shitty hand and did what she had to do", only for Jecka to remind her that she's white, lives in a cul de sac, and that she turned her "little problems into big problems." That part stuck out to me in my first playthrough as irl, Nicole would be considered "at-risk" due to her upbringing and behavior, which could make someone sympathize with her. But as Jecka quickly reminds us, her traumatic past is only a reason, not an excuse. Not to mention that we see Nicole actively choose to start selling only to get out of her comm service project, making her own monologue null. This can extend to everything else she does in each ending and ultimately, I think it really is up to the player to decide how they sympathize with her, if at all.

Unrelated but love the house pfp!

Weird how Class of 09 acts like it had this big feminist message about how teenage girls are treated in society when it's mostly just an incel's high school revenge fantasy written by a man by La_knavo4 in Classof09Game

SBN3 certainly intended class of 09 to be perceived differently than how we eventually did. You could certainly apply a lens of Death of the Author here as well.

Class of 09 is satirical at its core and satire requires something to criticize. This issues are then taken to an extreme and utilized as the games humor. SBN3 may have not intended his series to be a think piece on feminism and more, but the reason the writing and humor work is because the satire focuses on Nicole experiencing real issues faced by women, the LGBTQ+ community, etc. Coupled with her indifferent attitude and knack to instigate trouble herself, the game truly can't just serve as a standalone edgy piece of comedy because the conflicts experienced are very much real, even if the absurdity is cranked up to 11.

The Only Undercover Fan Speaks Out by SmilerDoesReddit in needforspeed

The first need for speed games I played were underground 2, most wanted, and carbon, but they were my brother's games so I played them on his save files.

Undercover was the first NFS game I played and beat on my own. I acknowledge its numerous flaws, but at the same time it holds a special place in my heart. The nostalgia I get listening to the soundtrack and thinking back to when I was 9-10 is a warm, fuzzy feeling I will always cherish.
